Luganodante definitely like you (us)! Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Room is clean and cosy. Had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant/bistro - flame grill - awesome service! The only regret was staying there for just one night, wish we had stayed longer. Will definitely choose to stay at Luganodante again if we are back. Thank you team! IMPORTANT TIP: please take the funicular - Lugano Città - from the Lugano Stazione to the hotel (just stop outside the hotel, very convenient). If feeling adventurous, proceed to enjoy the walk/hike down to the hotel from the station.

Not far from the lake, convenient transportation. Modern decoration style. The room is small. It feels more suitable for business trips, not suitable for families and children. The overall lack of highlights. The price is high.

The accommodation is top in all areas. The only thing that has irritated us a little at the beginning is the unused reception. Check in online, but it has super hit. We could get into the room at 1400 instead of 1500. Because we wanted separate beds, and these were only in the higher category, we were simply ”upgraded”, just top. Also the extra bed for our 5-year-old daughter was mega comfortable. It was all very clean and the daily cleaning was Super. We are and were just excited. We will certainly come back. Check-in and check-out friendly, very fast and uncomplicated. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and large enough. Big balcony with table, chairs and bedroom. Coffee machines with ingredients, water cookers and two fake water in the room. The location is quite central and directly on the lake. In 5-10 minutes you are in the centre of Locarno. The friendliness of the staff is generally OK. The pool is beautifully integrated in the garden, but the pool is something unclean, milk and not clear. In the whole, however, a good hotel.
