"I had the chance to experience this 'classic' renowned hotel, and I found it quite good. Although it's a bit old and some of the facilities are dated, especially in the apartment rooms, the cleanliness is commendable and the service is excellent. The apartment rooms, despite their traditional decor and older equipment, are spacious and well-suited for families. The standard rooms have been renovated with a more modern style and contemporary amenities. While smaller, they are very comfortable to stay in. I specifically requested a high floor for a better view! I also sampled the food at 'Changan One' and 'Tea Source,' ordered a birthday cake from 'Su Yuan,' and tried the breakfast buffet. All were very satisfying. The Kung Pao Chicken at Changan One was particularly unique, and the fried chicken wings at Tea Source were similar to spicy fried chicken. The breakfast offered a rich variety, and the freshly prepared dishes were great. I was especially pleased with the gym and particularly the swimming pool. I went for a swim in the morning when it was less crowded. The pool is very large, making for a pleasant swim, and there's also a massage pool, dry sauna, and wet sauna, perfect for relaxation. I'd definitely bring my family back for a weekend getaway if I get the chance."

"This was our first trip to Beijing with the kids, and we chose the Family Suite at Sofitel Beijing. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to Jianguomen subway station, making it super convenient to transfer between Line 1 and Line 2. Both the front desk and restaurant staff were incredibly attentive. Seeing that we had two children, they kindly offered complimentary breakfast for them and made every effort to accommodate our requests regarding our stay. The room itself was spacious, 80 square meters, featuring a 1.8m king-size bed and a 1.6m sofa bed. It also had a dining area with a round table and a separate relaxation area with a small coffee table. The bathroom boasted a massive circular bathtub, which the kids absolutely loved! The housekeeping staff, Zhou Xiuling, Su Nannan, and their supervisor Feng Jun, provided exceptional service. They replenished our amenities promptly and were very responsive to our needs. We'll definitely choose Sofitel Beijing again on our next visit!"

"Huge thanks and kudos to the housekeeping auntie! To the hotel management: please recognize and reward her. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy. On the day we checked in, I had my own ceramic bowl, and the auntie mistakenly thought it was from hotel room service and took it when cleaning. When we came back from sightseeing that evening, I contacted the front desk, and the auntie quickly found the bowl in the kitchen, washed it clean, and brought it back to us. Her efficiency and attitude were exceptional, and she really contributed to our wonderful trip. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Beijing."

Since then, whenever I go to Beijing, unless I'm specifically looking to try a different hotel, I usually choose the Four Seasons. The lotus flowers along the Liangma River are in bloom and look beautiful. I appreciate the upgrade; the room was so comfortable that even if I paid a bit more, it still felt like a great deal. The breakfast isn't as good as it used to be, but all the Four Seasons restaurants are generally excellent. I'll probably choose the Four Seasons again the next time I'm in Beijing."

Here I am again, after less than a month! This time I even braved a heavy downpour to get here. My flight circled over Beijing for an hour before landing, so I didn't get to the hotel until after midnight. It was another one of those check-in and check-out on the same day trips. I was already feeling pretty groggy, but thankfully, Bella at the front desk was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. She handled everything super quickly and thoughtfully, getting me checked in no time. Once I got to the room, I even bothered the staff to open and close the window for me. They made two trips late at night – I'm really grateful, though I regret not catching their names. This time, my room had an even better view! When I woke up in the morning, the sun was even out, and my mood instantly brightened, just like the weather. I got back late from lunch, but luckily, they extended my check-out time. By the way, I once again ran into the ever-elegant Ms. Rose Xiao. She checked out my room card for me at the very last minute. This trip was truly a whirlwind. As expected, after the storm, there's always sunshine! (I hope I got both employees' names right; I always worry about misspelling them.)

I’m truly grateful for this specific service apartment—it has been absolutely ideal for my stay in Beijing. It fits my needs perfectly, and I feel safe and at ease staying here. Due to my severe allergies, I could not stay in a standard hotel. Outside food holds too many hidden risks, filled with unknown plants and herbs that trigger my reactions. Cooking for myself is the only way I can stay healthy. I recently tried breakfast here and accidentally ate Chinese cured bacon, mistaking it for regular bacon. It was smoked with local vegetation I’m allergic to, which immediately caused an allergic response. This experience showed me how vital this service apartment truly is. Having a full kitchen lets me control every ingredient I eat. In an unfamiliar city where so many foods carry hidden allergens, this apartment gives me the safety and stability I desperately need.

This time, I stayed at a hidden gem of a hotel near Universal Studios! You can see the Universal cityscape and even Harry Potter's castle right from the room 🏰, which my kids absolutely loved – they kept snapping photos themselves. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Wangfujing Bay, with direct access to the mall from the third floor, making dining and shopping incredibly easy! During the peak summer season, compared to the Universal Studios Hotel, this place offers fantastic value for money. The stay experience was top-notch. Our butler was exceptionally thoughtful; since it was my child's birthday, they upgraded our room, sent a cake, decorated for the birthday, and even provided 'Little Prince' toiletries for kids. The hotel is very new, so the room facilities are all fresh and clean. It's also larger than the standard rooms at the Universal Studios Hotel, and the soundproofing is quite good. Ordering takeout was also very convenient! A special thank you to Joanna Jessica from Guest Relations. She communicated very thoughtfully even before our check-in and was always prompt in her replies after we arrived, making our stay even more comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Universal.

Facilities: The room offers an excellent view directly facing the Forbidden City. The swimming pool is comfortably heated, and the gym is well-equipped with machines that are maintained like new. Cleanliness: Impeccable. The bedding was pristine and crisp, and the bathroom was spotless. The turndown service even organized personal belongings meticulously. Ambiance: Located in Wangfujing, yet surprisingly quiet. The floral arrangements and artwork in the public areas are tasteful and elegant. The unique scent of oriental agarwood creates a distinctive, secluded atmosphere. Service: Our butler, Xiao Lü, was the absolute highlight. She attentively observed our needs, proactively prepared a rainy-day itinerary, and arranged a late check-out. Her thoughtfulness felt like that of an old friend, making it a truly warm and memorable experience. Overall, it exceeded our expectations! 👍🏻

This time, my best friend and I came to Beijing to play, and we specifically booked a deluxe city-view suite at Wanda Vista. The overall experience completely exceeded both of our expectations. We couldn't find a single flaw in terms of hygiene, environment, service, or facilities. I absolutely have to write a glowing review and recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end hotel in Beijing! First, let's talk about room hygiene, which honestly deserves a full five stars – no exaggeration. The moment we checked in and entered the room, it felt incredibly clean and fresh. The entire floor, the corners of the floor-to-ceiling windows, and even the crevices of the sofa were all impeccably clean, with not a speck of dust. The bathroom's wet and dry separation was exceptionally well-done; there wasn't a single water stain on the vanity mirror. The bathtub had been disinfected in advance, and every corner of the toilet and shower area was sparkling clean. The bedding was soft and fluffy, the sheets and duvet covers had no strange odors, and the pillowcases and duvet covers were neatly stitched. The My Dream bed mattress had just the right firmness. My friend and I were exhausted from traveling the night before, but we slept incredibly soundly that night, without any trouble adjusting to a new bed or insomnia. The mini-bar, TV cabinet, and the inside of the wardrobe were also perfectly organized. All the water glasses and tea sets were high-temperature sterilized. You could really tell that the cleaning staff was incredibly meticulous when tidying up, paying great attention to detail. We felt completely at ease during our stay.

Honestly, staying at this hotel for my first time in Beijing truly broadened my horizons and changed my perception of the city. My wife, our child, and I came to Beijing for the May Day holiday. She said since we're here, we might as well splurge and experience a traditional Beijing courtyard. It truly delivered a top-tier luxury experience. The room layout was excellent, the courtyard views were charming, the service was impeccable, and the location was superb with an abundance of food delivery options. Breakfast was all made-to-order. The only thing we missed out on was the bar and hotel activities, but there's always next time. I do have two minor points of discomfort to share, just for reference: 1. When our taxi pulled up to the hotel entrance, a staff member immediately asked me what I was doing there. I was a bit taken aback at first, then explained I was checking in. I'm not blaming him; perhaps I was dressed too casually, but it did feel a little off-putting. 2. On our last day, breakfast felt less crowded, but the food service was incredibly slow. We went at 10 AM, thinking half an hour would be plenty for breakfast, especially since the day before our food arrived in about 15 minutes. This time, we waited half an hour just for the dishes to arrive. Overall, it was absolutely wonderful, and I'd definitely go back if I get the chance. It left a lasting impression, and thinking about it now still brings back such lovely memories, especially sitting in the courtyard at night, listening to music and watching the stars 💫
