Family Friendly Hotels in Yunnan, China

I had a delightful stay at the Wanda Vista Resort Xishuangbanna, and can highly recommend the hotel for both luxury and a relaxing unique experience. A place that has something wonderful for everyone. A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. The staff were particularly helpful in meeting my needs and ensuring a great stay. I would especially like to thank Martin Gan. He provided an excellent service, He was very helpful and diligent and is a true credit to the Hotel.

Facilities: The room is very good, the wooden furniture does not look old, but has an elegant charm. The children especially like the swimming pool in the courtyard, and it is completely fine to stay in the hotel for a day. Hygiene: Before arriving, I was worried about the hygiene and mosquitoes due to the climate, but it was completely OK. The room was very clean, and the mosquitoes were isolated outside. Just make sure to close the doors and windows. It may also be related to the current month, which is not the hottest and humid time of the rainy season. Environment: The hotel is quiet, the public area environment is nothing to say, very beautiful, and it does not seem noisy and crowded even if it is full. It is very suitable for a holiday atmosphere. Service: The taxi call speed is very fast, the hotel staff is also very professional and enthusiastic, and the reservation items are all helpful to communicate. This trip and stay exceeded expectations, very good~ Travel: It is very suitable to stay here to visit the Botanical Garden Wangtianshu and Mengyuan Wonderland, away from the downtown, and enjoy the natural scenery of the rainforest.

We booked this hotel mainly for the beautiful scenery and adorable animals! A pity that we didn’t get to explore outside much due to the rainy weather but the view was still lovely. We were offered a free room upgrade to one with a balcony, which was such a nice gesture. The staffs were friendly and helped carry our luggage up to the room. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were also served with warm yak milk at night which was such a comforting treat especially with the chilly weather. Also, the hotel is very near to the railway station and airport.

The environment is super good. The inn is an old house, very beautiful. The housekeeper is very enthusiastic and contacted us one day in advance to tell us how to check in. The breakfast is delicious, with a lot of variety and very satisfying. I don't want to go out when I stay in the inn. I can stay for a day and it's very comfortable.

I am a lazy person and generally don't like to post reviews, but this hotel really needs to be mentioned. Both the overall decoration and the detailed decoration are in line with my aesthetic point. The hotel is right next to the terraced fields. In the morning, I lie on the bed to watch the sunrise, sit in the room to enjoy the beautiful scenery during the day, and lie on the bed to watch the stars at night... If it weren't for the tight schedule, I really want to stay here for a few more days, dazed and empty... I have also recommended the hotel to relatives and friends. In addition, the front desk lady is very beautiful, and the shuttle bus brother is super handsome, like it 👍

Read a lot of reviews before booking this hotel and I am definitely convinced this is a 5 stars for location, amenities and service! Hotel is within Lijiang ancient town means it’s very convenient to food and shopping area and it’s near the carpark means it’s accessible by car even though it’s in the old town. Room is huge and is smart controlled, comes with Marshall speaker and Dyson hairdryer and also a humidifier. Bed is very comfortable. Hotel is beautifully renovated with many instagrammable corners. Breakfast has the Yunnan delicacy rice noodles and buffet, good night sweet soup is nice too. A pity I missed all 3 days of the afternoon tea break which looks good, as I was out most of the afternoon. Best part is the service of the staff, everyone is so friendly, helpful especially our butler / manager Ah Hua, he guided us how to tour around Lijiang ancient town and give us advice on what to try or avoid, which is definitely very helpful for first time visitors like us. We really feel like home at La Maison and will definitely stay here next time and recommend to others!

Our stay at the hotel was incredible! The hotel and room are beautiful, with lovely designs and high-quality products and accessories. The bed and armchairs in the room are very comfortable. The shower and footbath were perfect after long days of hiking. The view of the rice fields is always beautiful, making it very peaceful and relaxing. The Chinese and Western breakfasts are delicious and plentiful, allowing us to wait until dinner in the evening. The hotel also offers a restaurant for dinner: the dishes are very varied, traditional, and, above all, always delicious. Finally, the staff was excellent throughout our stay! Helpful, lovely, and very accommodating (they served us breakfast earlier and helped us with our bags to book a minibus for our departure). We only stayed three days, and we would have liked to have stayed longer. A little paradise. Thank you to the entire team!

I had enjoyed my stay at Dali Ancient Luchun Hotel extremely much due to the excellent service. They really weren’t lying about the Haidilao-style service.  Their front desk personnel manning the Wechat (慕雅) was extremely responsive and helpful when it came to my requests. The lobby staff were also very helpful in delivering stuff to my room and when I was carrying luggages, they ran forward and assisted me immediately.  The services at this hotel were also unique and special: warm milk delivery daily (so that you can sleep) and free pick-up to and from the Ancient City and also to the airport/railway.  Nearby (10 minutes walk) there is also street food that tastes amazing and is value for money.  Overall, I would recommend this stay to anyone who is looking for stellar service and helpful staff and I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I had the chance to visit Dali.  我非常喜欢入住大理麓椿花园酒店，他们提供的优质服务真的名不虚传，确实有海底捞式服务的水准。 前台负责微信客服的慕雅对我的各种需求都非常响应和耐心解答。大堂的工作人员也很热情周到，每次送东西到房间时都很及时，当我提着行李时，他们还会主动上前帮忙。 酒店的服务也非常独特和贴心：每天送热牛奶（助眠），还提供免费接送服务，不仅接送古城，还可以送到机场或高铁站。 附近也有步行十分钟可达的街头美食，味道很棒，性价比也很高。 总之，我会推荐这家酒店给任何想要体验优质服务和热心员工的客人。如果有机会再次来到大理，我一定会选择再次入住这家酒店！

A very good homestay, with good room facilities, hygiene comparable to star hotels, and friendly and welcoming staff. The homestay also provides clothing for travel photography, so you can take great photos in the homestay. There are exquisite afternoon tea and fruits every day. We left early and they thoughtfully prepared milk and bread for us. The breakfast is hygienic and nutritious, and I personally think it tastes better than the rice noodles sold outside.

Yundu is incredible! Definitely the most perfect accommodation during our trip to Yunnan. This homestay is perfect with super clean and great design room and lovely environment. There's a cute white dog there also! Breakfast they served is the best meal I had in Li Jiang. Not to mention this homestay is very near to 见山小院，the famous place to watch sunrise and snow mountain. They are also within walking distance to Baisha ancient town. People in homestay are very friendly and helpful, we mentioned we will missed the breakfast as we need to depart early morning for sunrise view, they offered to prepare milk and cookies to eat along the journey. The room is cozy with heater in room and surprisingly even in the bathroom which is a plus point for me! In conclusion, this homestay is my top choice if I ever come back here and I will definitely recommend to everyone coming to Li Jiang. 云渡小院真的太太太完美了！无论是房间，民宿环境，地点（非常靠近白沙古镇，和著名打卡点见山小院,步行就能到），浴室里的暖气更是大大加分呀，毕竟每次洗完澡真的很冷。总结就是，我会大力推荐这家民宿给所有要来丽江的人，如果我还会再来丽江的话，云渡也一定是我的首选。
