Such a great stay! The hotel have a smart home assistant that made everything so convenient! The bed is the BIG PLUS! It was huge and super comfortable making it hard to leave! The best part? They offer free airport transfer which was huge time and cost savers for us! The staff is also very friendly! Highly recommended this place in all aspects especially if you reach airport late night or need to leave early!

Loved the hotel. The rooms were clean, housekeeping cleaned daily and was the best cleaning out of all the hotels we stayed during our trip (we stayed in 6 different hotels). Price also very cheap. Would highly recommend.

The location is good. The front desk night staff is helpful and friendly. Checkin very smooth. The room is clean and have high ceiling, very spacious. However there is only one washer and dryer in the laundry room. The hotel lobby is on the 6th floor, the drop off area is not directly in-front of the hotel so abit inconveniences. Overall have a pleasant stay.

It was an amazing stay and exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Firstly, we got a free room upgrade with a better view of mountains and closer to the animals. The room is also really comfortable, they provided us oxygen machine, humidifier, floor heating etc. We still felt a bit cold despite the heating, so the staff even brought a portable heater for us. We arrived at the hotel after the afternoon tea time had ended but we could still order drinks, which were very delicious!! We were also served with fruits and snacks on arrival. The hotel also provided Muslim friendly breakfasts for us! We booked an appointment for the tibeten clothing and photography, which were so beautiful! Especially so with the Napahai Grassland and the animals in the background!! The staff were very friendly and helped us with everything that we needed. The hotel provided Airport/Train Station transfers and the staffs helped carry all ourluggages to the train station. We were also given snacks for us to enjoy during our train ride. It was really thoughtful, and the snacks were delicious! It is truly an amazing and one of a kind stay!! This is by far the best hotel I have stayed in Yunnan 👍

The hotel is conveniently located near the Kunming Railway Station. It’s just 5 mins walk away from the North Entrance. It’s is also abut 10mins walk away from 2 metro stations of Line 2&1. There are a lot of restaurants at the level one of the hotel and food are great. There is also a huge supermarket, ShengSiong at level 1. Those travelers from Singapore will be very familiar with ShengSiong. I reached the hotel at 8am and they were kind enough to let me check in. The room is super big, clean, and with very nice city view. Couldn’t have asked for a better room. Will definitely stay there again.

This is the best hotel we have stayed during our visit in Yunnan. Though we came in late, our room were upgraded. Rooms were big and comfy and amenities were great. Truly enjoy our stay here . Highly recommended

Had a great experience staying here! The location is superb and what’s even more amazing is their customer service. Though this is only a 4 star hotel, their customer service is top-notch, deserved to be 5 star. Even before the stay, the hotel reached out to be if I need some decoration for my room. Without even a second thought they will assist you with your luggage when checking in and out. They also called to our room if we needed any night snacks and delivered it up. I encountered numerous hiccups with my taobao deliveries and they took the initiative to assist and contact the delivery company. The hotel also serves wonderful breakfast at the lobby and there’s a corner in the lobby where snacks are served at specific timing. What’s interesting is that you can make your own tea/coffee. The hotel also has laundry room for everyone to use at no costs. I would like to specially thank 凤凰 and 欣玉 for their excellent service and hospitality! ❤️

This homestay is the best! Very recommended 👌🏻 the host is very accommodating. The location is just perfect. It’s near to everything. There’s bed warmer and floor heater and the toilet comes with automatic bidet. There’s washing machine and even extra jackets that can be borrowed from the hotel as we undermine the cold in Shangrila the puffer jacket we borrowed really help us a lot with the cold. There’s pickup and dropoff service for free to and fro the Railway Station. The room that we book is really nice and the view is also nice. Please stay here if you come to Shangrila. You won’t regret it.

Thought i checked into wrong hotel, however was told that Yingdao merged with this hotel. Hence trip.com should update system. There is clearly a difference in pricing here for both hotel. You be the judge of it. Room is clean, comfortable, free tea tasting in small jar in room. Chambermaid does their job well.👍 Also found out i had a cockroach friend appearing on the tea console in the night, which i had to kill. 😐 Great for short short stay, close eyes and scoot. Breakfast is sufficient for local folks. Bearable and kudos to the kitchen staff making lot of effort preparing the food.👍 Lots of vegetables, pau, mantou, porridge, mee xian. Bring your own coffee. Overall:- Price to comfort 👍👍👍 Price to effort 👍👍👍 Price to functionality 👍👍👍

It was a great stay for us,, love the place. It is around nice neighbourhood with a lot of eatries and massage shop. Best of tea shop with a lot of pur tea to test out. It about 11 minds walk to subway station at South ring. Staff of this hotel are great and friendly and helpful.

Room was clean and tidy. Not too big, but still comfortable to stay in. There are 2 sides to the room, 1 bed nearer to the first part of the room near the lobby door (Aircon ventilation does not blow towards this direction) and 2 beds nearer to the bathroom side of the room. The room's windows were later discovered to be strangely left ajar when we started detecting stench of cigarette smoke coming in from these windows. Potential guests,do take note to check for any ajar windows when you check into the room and close them promptly if you cannot withstand cig smoke like us. The stench stayed around at the side of the room with no aircon vent. Hotel staff, pls also do remember to close the windows after servicing / cleaning the rooms.

The location of the hostel is quite good. It’s only a few minutes walk to the nearest metro and Cui Hu 翠湖. There are a few flights of stairs where there is no lift before you can reach the rooms.

The room was very cozy and comfortable but what impressed us the most was the warm service. Qin ge 秦哥 gave us great recommendations on where to go and assisted us with car pool arrangements to and back from Tiger Leaping Gorge. Some highlights of our trip were all thanks to this place. We happened to join the English speaking corner on Saturday night where we met the lovely owner Linda and chatted with fellow guests. On another night, the staff also prepared a generous 腊排 (cured ribs) steamboat for us after we revealed that we wanted to try it. The location is a short drive away from the old town, which we preferred for a quieter environment. The rooftop cafe with a fantastic view of the snow mountain quickly put us in a festive and vacation mood. The shower water is hot and the water pressure is good. The toilet doesn't have a shower screen, but this wasn't a problem as the water dried quickly. A scraper was provided and the ventilator is very strong.

This is my first time in Lijiang. Mr. Andy contact me days before we arriving from Kuala Lumpur to arrange for pick up at train station. But due to my WeChat aps error, we go to the hotel by DiDi and he picked us from the entrance and helped us with the bags as the old city not accessible direct by car. While we were checking in he made us tea, which was really nice. The hotel is very beautiful, just in the center of Lijiang Old Town. You can go out and stroll. The room and environment is beautiful, comfortable and clean and also all the essential are there. The whole staff of the hotel were really nice and always there for me for all the service that I need especially Mr. Andy. He taking care of us. He helped me reserving a trip to the snow mountain & Tiger Leaping Gorger. Mr. Andy led us to the meeting point in the morning. Very good of him. Mr. Andy arrange driver to send us to the train station on our last day in Lijiang. I highly recommended staying at this hotel and will never regret the experience. Will definitely choose here for my next visit to Lijiang To Mr. Andy, thank you so much for your help and kindness. Till we meet again

Location is best, right next to the Ancient town. Room is very spacious and breakfast was best, had a variety of options and most importantly delicious. Worth for staying. The hotel is very big so you need to take a golf car to your room. Walking will be little tired. Hotel is a bit old but still it’s very clean.

Had 6 wonderful nights stay at the hotel. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to Lijiang ancient town. The hotel is built with ancient architecture but the interior is very modern. The environment is peaceful and the hotel overlook the entire old ancient city. The view is breathtaking. The hotel room is spacious and clean. The room is equipped with heated flooring and mattress. The hotel manager, 小唐 is very thoughtful. He always check in on us to ensure that we are comfortable and ensure that our requests are met. He always serves us tea, chat with us whenever he is free and explain China history which was very interesting. He personally cut fruits for us which was so nice of him. When we were out the whole day, he will turn on the aircon in our room to ensure that we come back to a warm room after a long day. It’s our first trip to China and we have very good impression of the country because of 小唐. His service is top notch 👍 and the gold standard for the hospitality industry. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Lijiang. Yunnan is such a beautiful place and the people are kind and warm.

Setting this location as a base for our stay in Lijiang provided such a tranquil moment as it overlooks a reservoir and the snow mountain. Beautiful room with a tub that we enjoyed during our stay. All staff were very helpful and provided help to purchase tickets to attraction, meals and even helped to purchase a Monocular from the meitu as we do not have a local number. We were also treated to a tea session at the premises. Such a wonderful time. Thank you for the excellent hospitality provided.

The room was far smaller than expected with a very petite though functional bathroom (without any natural light). The two single beds were small and difficult to sleep in. The air conditioning was old and quite poor. It was difficult to bring the temperature down at night. There was one tiny wardrobe that could not hold much clothing at all. There was no tea, coffee or other benefits of an alleged 5 star hotel. The following day, the cleaners (who were fantastic and very nice) brought us a few biscuits and a plate with a few fruit items on it. Two bottles of water were provided each day. The breakfast had a good selection of possible dishes though the staff did not refill regularly so many items became unavailable during breakfast. The dishes were very Chinese orientated, which was not a problem given that we were the only foreigners in the hotel. The reception staff were excellent, very helpful and supportive.

We had a great stay at this hotel the location is very convenient in Lijiang ancient town but it’s by the street so that cars can stop by the entrance of the hotel. We were welcomed by the front desk team that helped with our luggage. We initially booked a twin room but the room we had booked was a bit dark and we asked if there was any other room available. One of the employees named 阿鑫 quickly helped us to check and offered us an upgrade to a suite instead which was much better. The room was very clean and modern with a beautiful view of the ancient town. We also received free minibar and welcome fruits which was very nice. Furthermore, 阿鑫 helped us to introduce all the important tourist attractions and restaurants as well as bars. She helped to book tickets for the attractions that we wanted to visit and also followed up to see that we were happy. Her friendly and professional service made us feel very happy and we enjoyed our short stay in Lijiang very much.

Modern interior. Aesthetically beautiful rooms comes with smart functions. 2 spacious bedroom with 2 king beds. 2 bathrooms. Theres Tv in each room. Washing machine is at 6th level. Host is very helpful and friendly. Mike went extra mile to assist our family in whatever concerns and issues. He arranged for us private trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain at a reasonable price. Even though we cannot speak their language there is no problem. We can communicate via translator using wechat or google translate. Hotel has a rooftop deck where you can see beautiful sunrise. Do check out Red Sun Square mall. Its located nearby and underground. Selling nice fashionable winter clothes at reasonable price. For Muslim travellers do not need to worry. Many Halal food available across the street. Just walk around and to find logo ‘Qing Zhen Shi Pin’. Note: this hotel allowed smoking in the premise. If you are coming with families with young children and are not comfortable with cigarette smell, you might want to request for non smoking room.

I enjoyed the hotel stay a lot. Beautiful architecture, large breakfast selection, and you just can’t go wrong with a large hotel. My tip to other Travellers who are looking for a luxury experience, please don’t go for the up and coming avant garde room designs that seem to be popular in Lijiang. Pros: 1. Economies of scale, rooms are of a high standard. Heating, air-conditioning all work fine. You’ll realize it’s a problem with the boutique hotels who are at the same price point 2. Breakfast begins at 6:30am - great for when you want to start your day early. 3. They had beautiful black swans and offer free activities like kayaking alongside them. Cons: 1. The boutique hotels has personalized services compared to large hotels. However, it’s not important for me.

Hotel staff very professional and helpful. They definitely makes your day more pleasant! Room is clean and modern . Amenities and facilities are very good. I stayed 3 nights and we are very happy . There’s laundry facilities if you need , very near eel to Lijiang Oldtown and the fantastic scenic Black Dragon Park to catch your sunrise view. Truly a 5 diamonds jewel !!!

The room so called vip surprise is a bit small, the room decoration is quite nice and the cleanliness is superb. The hotel location is a bit tricky and very difficult to find for travellers. The Google Map was unable to show you the exact location but it is within 50m radius, the hotel is located behind the 1st row shop houses and beside the local market. You can see it from the local market but it has no access to the hotel. A proper signage should be planted to guide the tourists to the hotel as we wasted almost 30 minutes searching for the hotel where it is only 50 meter away from our drop of area.

We stayed at the Dali BoMan Sea View Hotel and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. While we didn’t expect it to be located in a condominium building, this added a sense of safety and privacy. The hotel is situated on the highest floor, offering breathtaking views from the room. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the room itself was incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, even going the extra mile to offer us hot milk every evening—a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. Although the hotel is about a 30-minute ride from Dali Ancient City by Didi, it wasn’t an inconvenience for us. Coming from Singapore, we appreciated that halal food was relatively easy to find in the area, though the best options were closer to the ancient city. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for stunning views, a clean and comfortable stay, and attentive service. Just keep in mind the slightly longer travel time to the ancient city if you’re planning frequent trips there.

Our experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

This hotel is a true gem! Here’s why we loved our stay: Location 🗺️ Just a short walk from the old town! It’s conveniently close to all the action yet tucked away in a quiet, accessible alley—perfect for a peaceful night’s rest. Accessibility & other amenities 💖 They have a lift, which is rare for hotels in traditional buildings around here. So convenient, especially with luggage. There was also self service laundry on site, which is useful for those taking a long trip! Incredible Staff 💼 From the receptionist to the rest of the team, everyone was exceptionally welcoming! They shared local food suggestions and even helped us with our bags to the main street on our last day. Rooftop Sunrise Views 🌄 The view from the rooftop was absolutely breathtaking! With Mt. Cangshan on one side and Erhai Lake on the other, it’s like experiencing the famous 龙龛码头 view but without the crowds. Clean Room 🛏️ Spotless and comfy—our room made us feel right at home. Train Station Pickup 🚗 Our driver was super friendly, and the staff reached out days before our arrival to confirm all the details. Such a smooth start to our trip! Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for convenience, comfort, and an unforgettable view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay here! Our family of six occupied two rooms and felt right at home. The excellent location ensured quiet nights, and we all slept soundly. The top-notch service was impressive - fast, friendly, and attentive. The staff even prepared our bedrooms for rest and sleep in the evenings. Mealtimes were delightful, with delicious breakfast and tea breaks. We were also treated to nighttime desserts. To unwind, we relaxed with a soothing foot bath infused with rose petals and herbs. The hotel is very beautiful. We chose a room with a view of the beautiful Erthai Lake. The room is very large and has all the amenities. In addition, the reception team provided excellent service, informing us about the pick-up from the train station. When we arrived, there was a shuttle to carry our luggage. All the services were impressive. If anyone is looking for a room with a beautiful view, I recommend this place. We liked it very much. I give 5 Stars 👍

One of my best stay in Yunnan! Room looks exactly as pictured. Clean and spacious. Smart controls in the room makes it an even more interesting stay. Located inside the ancient town, it’s very convenient to find food and buy souvenirs. The best part? The super friendly and helpful boss! I will definitely stay here again if I revisit Dali. Highly recommend to everyone!

The room has one of the best sea and mountain views, as per the photos! It’s clean and comfortable, as well as tastefully designed. It’s equipped with smart features, including the toilet and shower. The location is convenient, with many eateries in the area. You can take a nice walk to the nearby park and enjoy the scenery. Ideal for a longer stay. The host, Xiao Le, was very friendly and approachable and had good recommendations for food!

Absolutely fantastic hidden gem of a hotel. I’m sure all the other reviews have mentioned the great location, cleanliness, comfort, and amenities. However what really stood out was the level of customer service - as a solo traveller who stays in hotels half the year, this was truly the most outstanding. No other hotel has made me feel like “part of the family”. While strong at first, my tip is to just embrace it and enjoy Da Li!
