Top rated hotels in Xinjiang

Grand Mercure Urumqi Hualing

Hongshan Park/Nanhu
This was an excellent hotel with superb services. The staff, in particular was very helpful in arranging drives to various interesting sites. The lady called Sophia spoke excellent English which made life easy for foreigners. The only thing I would recommend is that they make an effort to clean the carpets more thoroughly.

This is definitely the best hotel I have stayed in during this trip to southern Xinjiang! No one else! It is better than most five-star hotels! Environment: The scenery is very good, facing the snow-capped mountains, and the sun shines on the golden mountain every day. In front of us is Toglenxia Village, the best village to experience humanities and nature Service: The boss and staff are very enthusiastic. They will take us on a tour when we check in and tell us how to use the room facilities. At night, the car got stuck in the wetland and couldn't get out. The hotel staff was so busy that they were exhausted, but they kept helping us find a way. They helped for five or six hours until the car was out. Thank you so much. I didn't sleep all night because of this. 🫨 Facilities: The room is very spacious and tidy! ! ! ! Although it is a newly opened hotel, there is no taste of decoration at all. The bedding is also very good, the mattress is very comfortable, and even the toiletries are Hermes! It is completely comparable to the five-star hotels outside! ! The room faces the snow-capped mountains and the Jincaotan Wetland, and the scenery is amazing! And the food is also very delicious😋
Nightlight Town HOTEL

The hotel lobby is spacious and grand, and the front desk service is warm and polite, especially the quick response to the extension arrangement, showing professionalism. The guest rooms are clean and tidy, and the smart toilet is equipped with a disposable automatic replacement cushion, which is a highlight design. The floor heating effect is excellent, and the complimentary breakfast is rich in variety (including Chinese, Western and halal meals). The civilian price can enjoy a close to five-star experience. The hotel is located in the core area of Yeguangcheng Tourism Town, and is within walking distance of the riverside night market, Burqin Museum and other attractions. There are many restaurants (such as Mianmian Congee Road, Old Street Barbecue City), supermarkets and pharmacies around it, and the convenience of life is excellent. Most guests said that the stay experience exceeded their expectations and it is the preferred choice for Burqin travel accommodation.
Bafeng Retreat
4.8/5378 Reviews
Easily one of the top two or three guesthouse experiences I’ve had traveling China over the past decade. While it’s certainly on the higher end of the price spectrum, you definitely get what you pay for and more. The level of detail is immaculate: given how hot and dry Turpan is, they give you as much bottled water you need & leave hydrating facial masks in your room every day. Also, shoutout to the beds—one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in China—and Japanese toilet. The facilitates and service touches are on par with the best luxury hotel brands which probably go for twice the price or more. But ultimately the people and location are what make this place special. Everyone from the owner to the cleaning staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I ran into the owner at a restaurant and he bought me dinner and introduced me to some local dishes I would have never known to order. The location is 🍇 valley. It’s a quaint little grape producing village with friendly locals and amazing fruit. All in all, Bafeng Retreat is a special place that is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and take life slowly. Highly recommended.
Huayu International Hotel (Hotan Old Night Market)
4.4/5472 Reviews
The hotel accepts foreigners. Free pickup, dropoff (airport/train station…). Reception does not speak english so translation app will help. They are very helpful, even helped me with sending a parcel. Room is old but clean and spacious. There is even a working desk with a computer. Typical business hotel for the Chinese I guess. Walking distance to Hotan Night Market (out of the hotel just turn right to Renmin road and straight to the crossroad, crossing the road then it is a tunnel-shaped building which is the night market). No hair dryer though and I could not find wifi of my room so I had to use that of the other room. In the hotel room there is a guidebook to Hotan and you can use it to ask the reception to help you catch a taxi to the destination you want. Jade market is the most famous spot here and many Han Chinese come to Hotan for that. Everything in Hotan must be taxed heavily or so (for the massive construction that is going on?!), everything is more expensive than Kashgar and other cities in Xinjiang. So at least this hotel price is quite ok for this range in Hotan.
Wendi Garden Hotel, Urumqi (International Airport Hotel, Diwo Fort)
4.7/5681 Reviews
The hotel is new, the environment is very clean, and the price/performance ratio is high. It is much better than the hotels in Sailimu Lake Scenic Area. There is also breakfast and airport pick-up. The hotel also provides children's toothbrushes and children's slippers. The children like it very much and clamor to take them home. The hotel's toilet and shower area are independent water compartments. It is very good
Kashgar Nanjiang Global Harbor International Hotel

I’m so glad I picked the Nanjiang Global for my stay in Kashgar. It exceeded my expectations, and my stay was really pleasant. After long days exploring, it always felt good to come home to my room. And given the summer heat, I loved that there was ice cold lemon water always waiting for me in the lobby. The check-in service was great and my room was upgraded. The suites are really comfortable, with amenities by Shanghai Tang. I also saw the standard double rooms, and they were spacious and nice too. The front desk manager who goes by the name Hunter was excellent and so helpful, as were others staff members. Hunter’s English is great and he answered all my questions with patience and kindness. Ask him to write down the hotel’s name in Uyghur for you if you’ll be taking taxis. It’ll be a big help. The hotel is very clean, and breakfast was much more than basic. I hope I have the chance to visit Kashgar again, and I’d be happy to return to this hotel.
Yaduo Hotel Hami Municipal Government Jianguo North Road Branch

Awesome! I originally stayed here because there was a washing machine, but after I came in, I was pleasantly surprised in every place. Although the room was not big, it was clean, tidy and beautiful, and many details were designed to be very user-friendly. The attitude of the people in each department was very good. The laundry room even provides laundry detergent~ It is really a well-managed hotel. I have become a member this time and plan to stay at Atour in the future.

I didn't pay attention when I made the reservation. The hotel has just been renovated. I usually don't book particularly new hotels because my respiratory tract has been very sensitive after the COVID-19 epidemic. I was afraid that the decoration would smell. When I entered the room, there was still a little smell, but it was not heavy. Maybe it was the aromatherapy. I felt a little better after opening the window for ventilation. I didn’t feel anything at first. I woke up in the middle of the night and wanted to drink some water. When I lowered my head to put on my shoes, I found a lot of dirt under the bed that hadn’t been cleaned at all. Then I found something on the carpet. There are also chili peels eaten at the previous hotel, which proves that the hotel does not clean the floor at all. The hygiene in other places seems to be quite clean. The front desk of the hotel is shared by two hotels, which is confusing. The hotel is on the 32nd floor and the elevator is a bit slow. It is even slower to catch up with the peak, and you have to wait for a long time.
