Family-friendly Hotels in Jiangxi, China

Stayed here for 2D1N! We chose to stay in a balcony room so the views were amazing but the room is a bit small. We came here on a Saturday so expect a huge crowd around the area. A benefit of staying here as a hotel guest was that we were able to stay past closing time of Wangxiangu and did our own exploration of place without the crowds. All the lights close at 12am so you have few hours of the place to yourself! However, food options here are limited after 10pm but they do have instant noodles for sale so we bought that! We also got the breakfast buffet the next day and quite a huge selection but the taste is normal. The staff were really friendly as well as my country doesn’t have WeChat pay so the staff helped us pay first and I transferred the money back to her via AliPay. We also had a free photoshoot with traditional clothing around the area. The clothing is free but you’ll need to pay for makeup and hair, and you’ll get 5 free digital touched up photos; they will take a total of 64 photos of you and you’ll get the option to pay for the other pictures if you want. Honestly, would stay in this hotel again and would probably stay on a weekday just to avoid the crowds.

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The hotel could help to book the car for picking up from and droping off at Shangrou station and the hotel (with charges). The location of the hotel is 10 mins driving from Wangxian Valley approx. The hotel can drop at Wanxian with free of charge but advising time in advance is required. The towels were disposible towels so you may need to prepare for your own.

Stayed here in end Oct. Ji Hotel entrance is just beside Mercure Hotel entrance, so don’t enter the wrong one. Comfortable bed with double pillows and the only hotel (out of 5 we stayed in this trip) that provided fridge and free mini bar in the room. Good breakfast spread and quality with local specialities like jar soup and noodles. However, the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working properly, so the room was warm and stuffy. When we called the reception about it, we were given a silly excuse and a standing fan which was dusty and not standing straight. Not only did they not bother to wipe the dust off the fan before letting us use it, the staff who brought the fan to our room was impolite and left the fan at the door expecting us to move the dusty fan into the room ourselves. This is not the service standard we expect from Mercure. They gave us 2 packs of local noodles as gifts to make up for the unpleasant experience when we complained about it during check out

The receptionist was super kind; we got an upgrade free of charge. The room was good. In particular, I like the room very much: spacious, very clean and well-lit. The breakfast was good too. Overall, a good value for money.

The main entrance is inspiring. Front desk was extremely helpful. As I would’ve expected from Shangri-La the room was exceptional. The view was wonderful picture of the river. I was disappointed with the Chinese restaurant second floor, where we ate dinner and I was also disappointed with breakfast offering at the Horizon club on the 32nd floor. Dinner early they were out of seven dishes that we selected they were still on the menu to choose from incomprehensible. At breakfast the staff at the Horizon club was very attentive, however, the food selection was sparse, and while quite fresh, was less than expected. Hotel 5 Stars. Restaurants 3 stars. Hotel staff and restaurant staff 5 stars

I recently stayed at Huan Xiu Homestay and had a wonderful experience. The inn’s serene setting and blend of traditional and modern decor made for a peaceful retreat. My room was clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The amenities were excellent, offering both relaxation and cultural experiences. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent hospitality and helpful local tips. The breakfast experience was superb, with delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at Huan Xiu Inn and highly recommend it.

There are three hotels on Huangling, and Tianjie is one of them. There is a bus from the high-speed rail station to the foot of Huangling. Then take the cable car up the mountain, and the hotel has a shuttle bus to pick you up. If you don't have luggage, it only takes 10 minutes to walk from the cable car to the hotel. The hotel is on the edge of Huangling Tianjie. I booked a balcony room, where you can embrace the terraced fields of rapeseed flowers, which is spectacular. Tianjie is the most film-like ancient town I have ever seen. The scenery changes from place to place, and the sky and the earth are all picturesque. The cable car closes at 7:30 at night. Tianjie is brightly lit, and there are few people. It is very quiet and comfortable. We walked down Tianjie early the next morning and entered the rapeseed field to play, which was another kind of fun.

Unique experience worth trying at-least once ! The hotel is in an amazing location and it’s extremely beautiful ! This was a very special stay for us We were a bit skeptical based on the reviews , but it exceeded all our expectations by miles ! We booked a room facing the mountain view and it didn’t disappoint at all ! The room was very cozy and comes with stacked up mini bar , Evian water , Coffee capsules , projector , fruits. During the evening time they put up some chocolates , fruits , tea and water for the guests to enjoy and it was a nice touch :) Staff were friendly and accommodating , special thanks to 叶晓倩&唐臣金 for all the care and support

The room is clean and tidy, and makeup remover, facial cleanser and body lotion are provided, which is very convenient for women. There is a fruit plate and yogurt upon check-in, a bowl of noodles at night, and afternoon tea in the afternoon, which is very warm service. In addition, ordinary rooms have coffee tea bags and a small refrigerator with iced drinks, which is very nice for tourists who have been out for a day on a hot day. This hotel is the most cost-effective when traveling to Nanchang this time.

The facilities are complete and the decoration design is reasonable. The service is in place. The temperature suddenly dropped at the end of March, but the room was still warm. There was heavy snow in Sanqing Mountain. We returned to the hotel like cuckoo birds. A bowl of warm red dates and lotus seed soup instantly warmed our hearts. It is very convenient to stay here when visiting Sanqing Mountain.

Just wonderful place. Come there 3rd time and it always just perfect. Staff exceptionally friendly and very professional, all questions solved just on the fly. The breakfast rich and tasty. Swimming pool just amazing place to rest after long trail in mountains. Strongly recommended for those who wants to explore SanQing mountains and do that in relaxed way during vacation.

After doing some research, I fell in love with Yishanju Meisu at first sight. You can take the hotel cableway green channel to go up and down the mountain, and the shuttle bus is also timely. The scenery on the mountain is beautiful, and the rooms are scattered among the beautiful mountain scenery. The night view of the ancient village with lights on is unique. I booked a Tang-style king-size bed room, which also provides several sets of Hanfu for you to match. There are also guzheng, calligraphy, etc. in the room, and the photos are also very good. The hotel also gave sweet soup before going to bed at night. It's a very good travel experience.

The location is not so far and you can walk from Shangrao station about two blocks opposite the station in 8-10 mins. Everything is perfect . Room is very wide and has hi tech technology for any facilities equipment in the room. The breakfast line is great. At night you can walk around the area to find food stall or restaurant for your dinner. There is 1-2 minimart. The front staff is so kind and has a good service to call a taxi for us on the rainy day. Recommend this hotel if u want to visit Shangrao for sightseeing.

This top revolving hotel is well located in the older part of Nanchang. It’s a block from the night “ walking street” & 2 blocks from thousand bless palace food place. Good 10 minutes walking distance to local tourist attraction “ King Teng palace” by the River. Breakfast is good but not spectacular, only one option for coffee though. Top feature was the revolving restaurant though a little aged , is still an attraction. I believe this hotel can do better to enhance its image through a little modernization. Lighting controls in our room is a little confusing. Thermostat cooling was not favourable at times, heating for bathing water can be a little delayed at times. Other than that, all was well.

The trip to Wuyuan finally arrived in the rape blossom season as scheduled! I found a lot of hotels online, and finally we decided to choose Shanshuge near the scenic spot, and communicated with the boss in advance, and gave us suggestions for the itinerary. After getting off the taxi, I definitely didn't expect the boss to pick us up. It was so interesting. The road in the hotel was narrow and suitable for jumping. The weather in early March was still a little cold. When I entered the hotel, the boss made hot tea first, which was very warm. Then the boss sent us to the entrance of the scenic spot (no need to buy ropeway tickets to live in the boss's house), and started a misty and rainy trip to Huangling. Take your ice cream and sit down!” There was laughter everywhere. Along the stone road, you can meet the inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage of making straw raincoats. Seeing the straw raincoat, one can't help but think of the line ”A green bamboo hat, a green straw raincoat, no need to go home in the slanting wind and drizzle.” The straw raincoat, an ancient garment for wearing in the rain, is not as pretty and light as an oil-paper umbrella, but it carries the rich history of agricultural civilization. Along the way, there are free and casual tie-dye works, golden and crispy Huangling oil cakes, soft, glutinous and sweet handmade glutinous rice cakes, and NPC grandparents who feed you enthusiastically. I like the human touch here. From Jingdezhen to Huangling, I met very nice people along the way. The driver who came like a timely rain when we were catching the high-speed train; the passers-by who enthusiastically guided us to pick up our stored luggage at the exit; the passenger who picked up our ID cards and the lovely steward. Let me end with a quote from the B&B sister: “You are very good people, so the people you meet are also very good.” Kind people make Jingdezhen and Huangling warmer, and allow everyone who comes here to find their own warmth and touch.

It was amazing and beyond imagination. The Hui style of architecture was really immersive. The bolts inside the door were antique, and the windows were old-fashioned bolts. The creaking sound of closing the door and window was very much like an old house when I was a child. It was very quiet at night, with air conditioning and floor heating, and induction lights in the corridor. Breakfast was eaten at the restaurant in the scenic area. I got up early in the morning, there were not many people, and it was beautiful to take pictures. After 8:30, the tour groups came in one after another.

Amazing room and interior was very soothing. We were upgraded to the King suite and it was clean lines and huge. Cheng Xia and her team went above and beyond and were in touch of our needs thru the day and into evening. We being vegetarians we had a bit tough time in general around food. Cheng and the folks from the kitchen made additional efforts in ensuring we were not left hungry. Just a suggestion to bring in different part of cuisine as an option like Western atleast some pizza and pasta option for international folks. Super happy with the service. Cheng as well came with us to see us off at the train station.

I hiked to the soft legs in the scenic spot during the day with my friends, went back to the hotel and went straight to the hot spring area, and lived in an instant! There are many choices in the pool. The open-air hot spring is facing the mountain view. The water temperature is slightly higher. After a while, I feel that my muscles are relaxed. There is a water dispenser in the dressing room, and a glass of ice water after sweating is particularly cool. After soaking, go to the rest area to lie down for a while. Free ginger soup is provided when I come out, I am moved. I went back to the room at night and fell asleep. The mattress was moderately firm and soft. I slept until dawn. I opened the curtains in the morning and I could see the mountains in the mist. It was quiet and healing. Suitable for friends or family to live together, the price is very high, I should choose here next time.
