Family-friendly Hotels in Jiangxi, China

The location of this hotel is good as it is within the valley scenic area. the room that we booked was nice and clean with a good view. It was also near the food street and the main activity area. The valley was quite scenic (esp.night time when the whole vallley is lighted up), and the experience in the valley was good with many food stalls and cultural performances. The buffet breakfast spread was very good. Note that there is no laundry service. However, the hotel service needs improvement. When we arrived, the taxi was not allowed to drive to the hobby lobby, and we need to drag our luggage to the hotel reception from the entrance of the scenic area although it's not a long distance. My room was quite far from the hotel reception (10 min walk with many steps) , there was a hotel staff to guide us there. He was kind enough to help my wife with her luggage, but I can see that it was not a default service for them to help with the luggage as it was not mentioned by the reception to call them to help when checking out. The reception did not offer us the map of the whole vallley and make recommendations of what to do. We were a bit lost after we checked in to the room and had to walk up to the reception to get the map. Check out time was 12pm. But after breakfast, we came back to the room and found that we couldn't access the room with our card. We called the front desk, and they couldn't unlock it via the system and had to get a staf member to come to our room. Good thing that I bought the local SIM card and am able to call the front desk . If not, I will have to walk up to the reception to get this sorted out, and I had a train to catch! After checking out, I requested reception to call a taxi for us. To our surprise , she replied that they don't do that for guests. She asked us to call the car hailing service ourselves even after i told her we are not local and not familiar with the didi app. After repeated requests, she eventually helped us call a car. I'm not sure why she didn't offer assistance from the beginning. The experience would be better if the hotel could look into improving the areas that i have brought up.

The receptionist was super kind; we got an upgrade free of charge. The room was good. In particular, I like the room very much: spacious, very clean and well-lit. The breakfast was good too. Overall, a good value for money.

Chen wae always helpful organised pick up from train station and drove us to Ge Xiang Gu ( of course we paid him) 10 minutes drive to Wang Xiang Gu. There is a nice little restaurant that serves home cooked food 20 steps from the homestay. Recommend to anyone going to Wang Xiang Gu! 👍🥰🥰🥰

We enjoyed our homestay with this family thoroughly. The lady boss was great in her cooking of vegetarian meals for us after we told her what we do not eat such as lard/msg/non spicy etc. Ater agreeing at 30 rmb/person, she cooked for us daily 3 dishes for lunch. and we finished everything each time. Any place we wish to visit, we would arrange transportation to and fro for us as she has good connection with drivers. Kudo for that. We highly recommend this homestay in wangxiangu to anyone especially vegetarians as it is very difficult to find vegetarian food here.

It is a bit cold in winter, but it does not prevent you from opening the window to enjoy the view. Some have large terraces with beautiful views. This hotel is very convenient! It is in the center of Tianjie, surrounded by shops and restaurants! It is very convenient. You can drive into the scenic area, check in at the tourist service center, drive to the hotel parking lot, and then a shuttle bus will pick up the guests and send them to the hotel. Tianjie Hotel has a total of six floors. The higher you live, the better.

The best hotel i’ve ever been 😻 clean, affordable and new , even better than other hotel that we stay in China with triple price. the owner is very kind and attentive, the best hospitality ever , they provide a pick up and drop off at wangxian valley for free. Also offer a pick up at station or airport with affordable price I want to buy bottle of water at night, (of course they already give us 2) . Buy they just give us 3 more for free 😭🙏🏻 and i also get late check out. They also provide a huge proyektor for watching movies

It was my first time to visit Huangling Scenic Area. After a long consideration, I decided to stay in the mountain for one night. Although the price was not cheap, the conditions were better than expected! There is a special hotel channel for the cable car, so you don’t have to queue up. The shuttle bus service is also thoughtful! The famous hotels on the mountain have been renovated. The area is not large, but the facilities and equipment are complete, and the toilet is TOTO! There are indeed many tourists in the scenic area, and it is shoulder to shoulder when walking. The advantage of staying for one night is that you can quietly enjoy the beautiful scenery of Huangling before the tourists go up the mountain the next morning! It’s no problem to have a full breakfast, and there are local specialties for free after checking out! Consider it when the rape flowers bloom, and come back to enjoy it

Located in the old city, Nanchang is currently building roads. There are two one-way roads near the hotel. You can book a car online to get around. It is inconvenient to go back to the hotel. You need to go around in a big circle. If you encounter traffic jams and traffic control, it is quite inconvenient. There is a KTV on both sides, which is full of rhythm and music at night. There are two washing machines and two dryers on the 9th floor for easy use. Health and service are good. Traffic jam makes it inconvenient to return.

The hotel customer service Li Xiangxue was very enthusiastic and professional. She added WeChat in advance and upgraded the suite directly when she arrived at the hotel. This is my second stay at the Primus and I believe there will be another in my near future. I love stay-cations as a way to unwind and rest from work. This particular trip was for my birthday and the staff was so kind to help us celebrate. From the decorations to the pool to the huge tub (I love baths!) and yummy breakfast. It was just the celebration I was looking for. So thankful they are just a Didi away! They even decorated my friend’s room too! The locker rooms have a steam room but it’s not constantly on. You have to ask them to turn it on and it takes awhile to heat up so, if you know you want to use it let the staff know well ahead of time. You can get massages but I have a regular place I love in the city that isn’t as pricey so I just go there. Sometimes breakfast is amazing and sometimes it’s ok…depends on what’s available I think. The best part! A miracle! I locked my passport and wallet in the room safe. Something I rarely do. Well, 3 days later I received a call from the front desk telling me they found my belongs in the room. I hadn’t even realized! Smh…I was so grateful. I ran over immediately and was given everything (after a few questions to make sure it was really me ). Nothing was missing! I’m still in shock and awe. Thanks again to the man at the front desk with excellent English and a kind demeanor who helped with my wallet. Really everyone was wonderful and it really makes a difference. I tell everyone to stay there and it’s because of the great service. Thanks Primus! I’m sure I’ll be back before work starts up again in February 2023. 新年快乐🎉🎆

The hotel is in an excellent location, next to the cableway station, less than 50m away in a straight line, eliminating the trouble of dragging luggage on the road. For us, it is a suitable distance to walk to enjoy the night view after dining in Guling Town. The overall feeling of this stay is good. I personally think that Yunshang Hotel is a good choice for accommodation in Lushan.

The room was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities that I needed. The bathroom was clean and large as well with an excellent shower. The wild fruits in the mountain are my children's favorite. We stayed for three nights during the May Day holiday. I especially like the quietness and room style here. Drinking tea on the balcony is the first choice. It is a leisurely and comfortable afternoon parent-child time. The green mountains opposite are unobstructed. A beautiful trip starts with a good quality sleep. I will stay here again next time I travel to Lushan.
