Family-friendly Hotels in Hainan, China

The hotel was in a great location near the main shopping streets and beach. The room was spacious and clean. The facilities were good except the WiFi and we couldn’t find where to plug in the fridge. Overall very good value for money.

An absolutely amazing stay and the best value for money hotel I have ever stayed at. The check in experience was top notch and fine quickly without any fuss. The room is luxurious for the price with both a shower as well as a bath and the room is cleaned to a very high standard every day. In addition you are allowed to use the beautiful swimming pool in the hotel opposite. The hotel is only a short walk from the beach and is very close to great restaurants and bars in the area. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Atlantis. Every staff was so kind and warm, especially Estou (凌月) helped me a lot such as carrying bags, booking restaurant and she also gave me a special gift. Waterpark was so much fun and I had a fabulous dinner at Gordon Ramsey's famous restaurant Bread Stree. Not only that, but also live band at Tikki Bar played charming musics. I would definitely choose to stay at Atlantis if I were to visit Sanya again. Had a wonderful memory here.

Stayed at the family suite for 3 adults. The room was very new, moden, clean, neat, and very spacious. The views from the room were marvellous. The Guest Relationship Officer Miss Tan Wen Xian was very friendly and even gave us a packet of goodies bag which contained yummy Hainan Island tidbits. The location of the hotel was extremely convenient and near a mall. The mall has shops and restaurants. Directly opposite the Hotel is Terminal 1, which has a Hong Kong cafe. The food at the cafe was very good. Highly recommend to stay here.

Service of the hotel was very good even though they don’t speak English, they assist you through translation app willing to help. Especially person on the front desk helped us a lot. Food is delicious, rich variety. Room is clean. You can walk to the beach. It takes 5-10 mins. It’s near to the summer and pineapple malls. There is a free shuttle bus to duty free mall. You can take info from the front desk. We enjoyed our stay.

We recently stayed at a villa in Sanya through Trip.com and also experienced the wonderful hospitality of The Palace Resort Yalong Bay Sanya. From the moment we arrived, Bill, a staff member at the resort, added us on WeChat and provided outstanding service throughout our stay. He was incredibly helpful and made everything so easy for us. While January was a bit chilly, we only used the Villa pool on the first day. However, the resort has a hot jacuzzi by the pool in Villa, which was perfect for the cooler weather. We simply messaged Bill on WeChat, and he promptly ensured we had access to it, which was a great touch. The resort’s location is excellent, with Yalong Bay beach just a short distance away, making it very convenient. If you’re traveling with kids under 10 years old, the free indoor play center within the resort is a fantastic feature. Our children had an amazing time there, and it added so much value to our stay. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our experience and highly recommend this resort. The combination of beautiful surroundings, family-friendly amenities, and exceptional service from staff like Bill made our trip truly memorable. We can’t wait to visit again! Feel free to use or adjust this as needed!

Great location on Da Dong Hai beach and a few minutes walk to the swimming area on the beach. We booked the suite with terrace and it was absolutely amazing with lots of space and a plunge pool for our 4 year old to play in. Room cleaned on command and Abby - the housekeeper - gave me her WeChat on day 1 and was always so helpful and attentive. She even went as far as getting information on things for us and even booking in a massage (which I highly recommend from Bella) who was petite but very strong and knew how to hit the right spots. Breakfast and dinner were fine with plenty of choice of both Chinese and western with beers and soft drinks available too. My only gripe was being told the pool opens at 10am and upon explaining to the management that the pool is the main feature for any holiday resort along with the room, when you have a child that wakes up early, the pool should be available early like every other hotel we have stayed in and to be fair to the management, they agreed for it to be open for use from 8am. The tv package in the room was great and my son had plenty of choice of English cartoons including Peppa Pig. I would say this hotel is a solid 4 star hotel though and not a 5 star like the Shanghaitian Hotel next door where we’ve stayed before. The pool could do with some more deck chairs as they are quite limited. The pool could also do with some signs to tell the Chinese guests not to spit around the pool or even inside the pool which is disgusting and really off putting to foreign guests - which the hotel has a lot of! The room/suite could do with a few more power ports/usb and hooks in the bathroom. The toilet is very far away from the pool, you have to go all the way back inside the hotel almost to reception to use the toilet so if you are soaking wet but need the toilet then this could be dangerous and also encourages guests to release themselves in the pool instead which is unhygienic. All in all though, we would definitely stay here again.

We loved this quaint little place. Off the main shopping street so it’s a bit less busy but still close enough to make for easy access. Right on the beach which is both a good thing and potentially a slight issue for those wanting a place that is quiet at night. You will have to deal with the club music from a couple other beachside places who play loud music (albeit good and live) until 23:00 every night. The highlights for us would be the service which was incredibly nice and helpful. The resident dog was also a big highlight for us as she (Muo Muo) was so sweet. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the facilities were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t have an issue with late night music.

Stayed 4 days in a hotel. The hotel is located nearby the biggest shopping mall in dadunhai area, which provides a big number of attractions inside, fine dining and shopping. Dadunhai beach is okay with well developed infrastructure. Breakfast is perfect with a huge amounts of dishes both European, Russian and Chinese cuisine.

May your career only go up, good luck with everything!!!!....About the hotel: we liked everything, the only thing is that for some reason they don't put knives on breakfast, every time I went and asked the waiter for them. (This is strange, because there are a lot of Russians in the hotel). We lived in room 2715, the room is nice, clean, cleaning on time. It is very convenient that the hotel has rubber slippers for the beach. Once again, thank you separately, Lucas, for your help))

The location of the hotel was perfect, only a few minutes walk to the beach. There is a connecting bridge to the beach from the hotel. Many restaurants around, with live bands to enjoy by the beach. Wide variety of selections for breakfast, too. 2 swimming pools, one is kids friendly and one infinity pool.

Conveniently located opposite a big shopping mall. Hotel is very new which uses high technology equipments like my girl's favourite entertainer 'xiao du' which is the room 'helper' will switch on/off TV, radio, curtains etc. Personally, I'm impressed with the latest blameless hair dryer which gets my hair dry fast. Most importantly, Hotel provides free use of high tech washing machine and dryer. Without it, I would have a hard type once back home with loads of dirty clothes to wash. That is why I've rebooted this hotel a couple of times during the stay, 1 whole week to be exact. Service is fast too. As the hotel is relatively still new, would be good and look forward if they include swimming pool and a gym soon. Highly recommended.

This place is amazing! We moved to this hotel on the last day of our HaiKou trip as we have an early flight the next day. It's only 5-10 mins away from the airport, depending on the traffic. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they provide free transport to the airport. They helped us booked the transport when we checked into the hotel. The room we booked is beautiful, it's clean and tidy, comfortable bed and nice thick towels. Very happy with the room we got. We brought some local fruits to bring back to our country, but there isn't any fridge in the room. Their staff helped to keep the fruits in the fridge at their counter. We were given a reminder call 30mins before the transport came, which was a surprise to us. This is such a good service which we don get in other countries, unless you requested for it. There are eateries and convenient stores around the hotel, so you dont need to worry about food. If not, you can just take a DiDi, to the airport where there are shopping outlets and food courts. Overall, very good experience at this hotel. Highly recommend to everyone

Warmly greeted at reception and was upgraded to a family room. Staff brought us and our bags to the room, and made sure we were happy with it. Any queries or requests were instantly resolved. Beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and clean. Kids loved the xiaodu-xiaodu smart room controls. Hotel itself is walking distance to several malls, Starbucks and the WanLv garden. Downstairs is a ”must-try” renowned bakery. Good dimsum restaurant on the 3rd floor. A top choice if we visit Haikou again!

A pleasant hotel! Everything looks quite new. Comfortable bed (I especially liked that there is a choice between regular pillows and memory foam pillows). Good value for money (especially compared to hotels in Sanya where I am now and where hotels in this price range seem much lower quality). Friendly staff at reception. The only thing that could be better is sound insulation, in particular noise coming from outside the hotel. Even with the window closed, it felt as though it was open (what you hear is mostly traffic noise - which I got used to pretty quickly - but one evening also some loud music which annoyed me more; that stopped at 22:30 though, so not too bad after all). If I return to Haikou, I might certainly consider this hotel again.

Oh my word! What an amazing hotel. The views are breathtaking, the facilities immaculate but most importantly the service is outstanding. I cannot write this review without thanking Mr Allen Wong for all his kindness in making the stay for me and my mom so much more memorable. Thank you!

Not all staff is friendly and helpful. But on the whole the hotel decor and living arrangements is great. The long bath come with spring water option . To be rated for hotel us 8/10 - location is 7/10 and friendly staff is 6/10 .

Really nice little hotel. Great location. Room was small but I am a solo traveller so it's just right for me. I don't ask for much. Just a clean room, no bedbugs, hot shower and clean toilet and I'm happy. I stayed there 4 days and didn't encounter any noise issues even in the hotel itself. Would stay there again.

This is my favourite resort and place to stay in Haikou thus far! We booked the family room which comes with 2 double beds and a bunk bed. It's super spacious despite the number of beds, and the kids loved the hot tub. The only downside was the sliding doors were a little hard to manoeuvre for little hands so we just mostly left them open. There were both adult and kids bathrobes and bedroom slippers and wet slippers (we used it for our trips to the hotspring and pool) as well as kids dental kits and shower toiletries. Our package included buffet breakfast and dinner, spread was great and the kids had no difficulty finding food they liked. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hotspring, followed by the indoor pool. The animal club was small-ish but the kids had fun there too. It was a pity the outdoor water park and firefly activities were closed/not available as it was winter and we weren't aware of that. Also, not all the pools in the hotspring were loaded with the herbs but the upside was there wasn't much crowd when we were there. Just a side note: A number of farms in the area were closed on weekdays also because of winter/typhoon destruction. So make sure to call up before heading over.

We stayed three nights at Hilton Haikou and got the residence apartment. The view was gorgeous at lvl 29, the bed was comfy and room was spacious. It was very easy to take a didi car to qi Lou old street and haikou century bridge. There could be a bit of a jam during peak hour so do be mindful. At the back of the hotel, it's linked to a mall with a supermarket and coconut steamboat so it's pretty convenient. Buffet breakfast was yum, the waffles were the best compared to other hotels at Sanya and ocean flower island, the hainan rice noodle was delicious and the freshly fried youtiao. We wish there could be more variety but overall we enjoyed our stay

Our stay was absolute joy! The staff, rooms, restaurant, facilities, pools were all superb. I've never stayed at a hotel with friendlier, more helpful staff. Everyone from the cleaners to the reception staff would greet you with a polite ”你好”. Friendly staff make a huge difference!! I want to mention the Room Manager Aya who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. My family and I would 100% go back. Thank you everyone at Vaperse for the wonderful experience!

It was a very pleasant stay experience. Xiao Xie, the receptionist, knew that I had not had dinner yet, so he warmly gave me snacks and introduced the location of the restaurant in detail. The room is also very spacious and clean, and the balcony has a beautiful view. Restaurant service is excellent. Complete facilities? All in all, the hotel's management deserves praise!

This time when we came to Lingshui, we were in a hurry and wanted to stay anywhere, so I asked my husband to choose a hotel. I didn't expect that the hotel my partner chose was so good! ! After the reservation was made, there was a butler ➕v, who was very considerate and enthusiastic to help us arrange everything according to our situation. I must thank the butler @小郑 here! ! The hotel is very beautiful inside and outside, and I experienced the Nanhai train in the resort. The service of the hotel is really impeccable, and I can feel the dedication of the operation team. There is even the same capsule coffee machine in the room as in my home! ! It beats the five-star hotel in Sanya that I stayed in a few days ago! ! I regretted that I only stayed in Lingshui for two days. I didn't have enough fun. I can come to Lingshui for a vacation and lie down for a few days in the future.

Before coming here, I was afraid of getting into trouble, but I was very satisfied after checking in. The real sea view room was no different from the merchant's picture, except that there was no good weather during May Day, and it cleared up just before I left. I stayed in the sea view rooms on the east and west sides. Personally, I think the view on the west side is more unobstructed. Parking is convenient, and you can go downstairs and walk a few steps to the beach of Clear Water Bay. The sand at Clear Water Bay is really beautiful and fine. There is a bathtub in the room and disposable bath bags are provided. The candies and biscuits given every day are delicious, and toilet water is provided. It is really thoughtful. I will choose here again next time I come to Clearwater Bay.

The hotel is in a very nice location as you have the beach, pier with lighthouse and boat harbour right on your door step. The room was clean and modern with good aircon. Good selection for breakfast items. Three swimming pools to choose from with loungers . The hotel could do with focusing on attention to detail and customer service to reach their stated 5 star rating. However the Overall the experience was good.

When I first checked it, I wasn't really amazed by this hotel, but when we were welcomed by Carlos I just felt that warm welcome that I was looking for. Carlos made sure that we were okay all the time. The hotel has a great location, right next to the hotel, 1 minute walk from our hotel room. The hotel room is big and spacious, it has a little kitchen and even a washing machine they also provide Laundry detergent everyday. The breakfast is mostly Chinese, western breakfast is non existent at this hotel and that's one thing I feel they should improve on, but Carlos and his team really made us forget about the little troubles we experienced. If you can't speak Chinese, I'd suggest finding Carlos on your check in. Thank you for an unforgettable stay, we will definitely come again.

The place is secluded, no concrete buildings around, just luxuriant mountains behind you and large, clean beaches in front of you. The overall architecture of the place is elegant and grand, both in its building and in its park. The service is discreet and attentive. They are here when you need them. It is recommended to speak Mandarin. The hotel restaurant was a nice surprise - especially for me who usually does not like hotel food. They may not exactly fit in the expected criteria of an international luxury hotel and we recommend any international guest to look beyond those Western standards and appreciate how unique this place is. We had a fantastic time. Highly recommended.

This is my first time staying at Thank Inn Chain Hotel in a twin room. Compared with other chain hotels in the same price range, I feel that Thank Inn Chain Hotel Lingshui Monkey Island is the best, bar none. Hygiene From the corridor to every corner of the room, it is very clean. Moreover, the room layout is reasonable and the guests are always considered. For example, the air conditioner does not blow air to the guest bed. In such hot weather, you can turn on the air conditioner all night and sleep well. Does any other hotel chain do this? The wash basin and bathroom are separated, making it very convenient and hygienic for two or three people to get up early. There are many more, not to list them all. If you often stay in a similar hotel chain, you will have a clear feeling that the hotel really cares about its guests. The two girls on duty at the front desk were warm, polite and patient. Thank you again. If I come to Lingshui again, I will definitely choose this Thank Inn Chain Hotel. I wish you continued progress.

Service: The hotel service is excellent. The front desk staff is warm and friendly, and the check-in and check-out procedures are very fast. The room service is also timely, and the lady at the front desk is also super nice!, Environment: The room is spacious and bright, with modern and warm decoration. The bed is very comfortable, and the pillows and quilt are very soft. The facilities in the room are complete, including free Wi-Fi. The most satisfying thing is the balcony, where you can directly see the beautiful scenery. I share with you the beautiful scenery I saw. Highly recommended! 3. The most satisfying thing about this trip is choosing this hotel! From the moment you step into the hotel lobby, you can feel the full sense of luxury. The room has an excellent view and the scenery outside the window is breathtaking. The hotel's catering is also excellent. The dinner dishes are exquisite and delicious, and the chef's cooking skills are quite good. The friendly attitude and thoughtful service of the service staff added a lot of wonderful memories to this trip. It must be praised!
