Family-friendly Hotels in Fujian, China

Check in time supposed to be 3pm and I requested the room not to be near the lift or the last room. But by 3pm, the room is not ready although I had register the check in at 1pm. By 3.20pm, the got me a room that is right beside the lift (ignore my request which I had reminded them twice). Order for room service and told the front desk to clear it out around 6pm when I went out. But the dirty plates and leftover food is still there when I return to the room around 11pm Staff at the front desk is not attentive and the staff said will get the manager to contact me regarding the missing food for the room service but there’s no one contact me since 30 October Location wise is good, room is clean but service wise nah

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. We stayed 4 nights with two different designs of rooms. This hotel was very stylish and clean as I expected. Highly recommended! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to 李李， she help received my parcel and because we have extra two more medium luggage on the last day, she very helpful and help us call the special taxi with great price to airport. I hope I will have a chance to return to this hotel in future. This was our first time traveling to China. We have very good memories of this trip. We met a lot of nice people in China.

Location is really for a morning flight departure ,5min to the airport.Contact hotel for airport pick up ,and U need to reserve for airport send off .Nothing much to do around the hotel .We took Didi to Zhong Shan walking street ,cost us around rmb39. Overall Fliport hotel is value worth hotel .It's clean and I'm impressed with all the hotel staff . From pick up concierge,van drivers ,,restaurant and cleaners ..Excellent service. Will recommend to families and friends if they have. Long layover in xien like I do .

The hotel is inside a mall and there is a McDonald’s which is very near to the hotel. The staff are very polite and professional. She upgraded our rooms for free which I deeply appreciate it! Besides that, free fruit platters were given to us and we were served with welcome drinks and hot hand towel upon arrival. The non-smoking rooms are awesome. The rooms were cleaned daily and they replenished the mineral water daily. Buffet breakfast, tea time and supper were provided daily so you don’t have to worry about food at all. Besides that, there are heaps of shops and eateries along the Zhong Shan walking street (which is very nearby to the hotel). Highly recommended to those who come to visit Xiamen and I will be back!

I had a great stay at the htoel. The place was spotless, and the reception team, especially Xiao Chen and Xiao Ting, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When I asked for directions, they not only provided clear guidance but also shared contacts and recommended lots of great places to visit. Highly recommend!

The hotel is in downtown, very convenient to go to nearby scenic areas, the rooms were nice and clean with an awesome view of the xiamen downtown . The staffs were very friendly especially the lady from the front desk Alice. She could speak very good english also. Looking forward to visiting again 🥰

Everything about my stay at the hotel was great. I had a late arrival, so its proximity to airport was the main reason i choose it. I walked to the hotel +- 500meter and arrived there at midnight. Reception was still available, although they had a selfcheckin service (my backup plan in case my flight got delayed). I got my key within minutes (thank you) and was greeted by a big spacious clean comfortable Mondriaan themed room. Shower was great, bed was super. Although close to airport, not a sound. I had to leave early so i couldb try breakfast. Checkout was done by Carl. Very polite professional young man who not only did the checkout, but also was helpfull in explaining the best way to get to the trainstation. He even arranged a taxi, and stayed with me until it arrived to tell the driver were to bring me. During the few minutes wait i was offered drink (iced tea) and a parting gift (box of almond pastries. My stay was short but very pleasant. The hotel is full of art pieces, a cute usher robot us driving around, staff is professional... i know where to stay. Thanks again Carl (pic just before checkout)

Check in process is fast and everything went smooth. Room is spacious and very comfortable. Fruits and snacks are also served. Breakfast buffet has a very wide variety selection from Chinese to western cuisine, with amazing view from the top most of the hotel.

I remember staying here for one night before the epidemic, and it felt okay at the time. This time, because I wanted to be simple, convenient and comfortable, I chose Wanghui to stay for two nights again, and it was as bad as a hotel. The only two advantages are: it is located opposite Xiamen Railway Station and the house prices are cheap (you should not dare to charge high prices for this kind of hardware and software equipment and services) The hotel only has the fifth floor but the floor area is large, so nearly half of the room types are ”windowless”. If it is unacceptable, you must pay special attention before booking. The room is as shown in the picture...the equipment is old and the hygiene is not cleaned well! There are a lot of small debris and hairs on the floor, including the bathroom! (The same thing happened after I returned to the hotel the next day. It didn’t seem to be much cleaner.) There was also a layer of dust on the tea cabinet! The poor external window screens are also in a dilapidated state. [Rice] The breakfast in the restaurant on the first floor... seems to be in a temporary partition. I really wonder if those who say: It's so rich and delicious are asking their own people to comment or are they telling lies! (Pictured) It is completely untrue and inconsistent with the photos on the Internet! When I checked in on 1/5 night, the girl at the counter... had a bad attitude! Even if I can't answer all the calls, the tone of my answers to questions is unbelievable. And he refused to ask for two more bottles of water! Our hotel has a “limited supply” of only two bottles per day. (In the same affordable hotel opposite, I asked the waiter for two more bottles of water last time, but they were worried that it wouldn’t be enough, so they took several more bottles at once.) If you want to have a window, just book another room type...wait! There are many hotels of the same level in the surrounding area. When booking a hotel again, you should give some thought to better options.

The hotel location is very good. The shopping mall is just opposite the hotel and the train stn is just beside. Their staffs were very responsive and helpful. Especially one of the front desk staff, Cameron. He doesn’t have a friendly face but he was very attentive to details and try his best to go the extra miles to make sure our stay is comfortable. 👍

it was my second visit to this hotel. (first visit was 2017) the hotel is very close to Xiamen Gaoqi airport and have small private beach. Hotel staffs are friendly. Breakfast of restaurant in 2nd floor is nice, but 1st floor is not recommended but for my room, room full of smells of cigarette..... the shower water is too hot, not able to set warm. Toilet water flush is too weak.

Location was unbeatable! Right next to dongbai metro station. Cleanliness was ok, but could be improved. Mirror had some stains and room showed some signs of aging. Breakfast was average and mainly catered to the Chinese market

I hadn't been back to Fuzhou in a long time, so I was really excited to finally make the trip. The Shangri-La totally lived up to the hype. The service was incredible – I felt like royalty from the moment I pulled up. The breakfast buffet was amazing! So many choices, and everything tasted fantastic. I especially loved 蛤蜊煎蛋. Overall, my stay was top-notch. The hotel is super luxurious, and the staff went above and beyond, especially thanks to 小占 for helping me with everything! I can't recommend it enough!

i loved the place! hotel breakfast is totally worth it, yummy toast and lao hua (soup with free flow ingredients like clams, prawn, vege, meatball, fishball). their breakfast place is an actual buffet restaurant link to a spa. there’s a wide variety of food to let you sample the food of fuzhou. hotel room is big and clean and nice. at 11pm, there will be food stalls that gather near the hotel for a great supper time!

I recently stayed at this place, and overall, it was just okay. The amenities were decent, and the staff was friendly. However, the strong smell of smoke really detracted from my experience. It was pervasive and made it difficult to fully enjoy my stay.

I had a wonderful experience at the Atour hotel, the room is clean and very comfortable. In addition, all the staff are accommodating and friendly, they will patiently respond and assist if you needs any assistance. Checkout was also quick and easy thanks to 颜儿. Will definitely stay there when I come back!

Spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean, the suite exuded luxury in every detail. The panoramic city views from the large windows were breathtaking, both during the day and at night when Fuzhou lights up. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the high-quality amenities, including the rainfall shower and plush bathrobes, added to the indulgence. The dining options at the hotel were also good. What an Amazing Resort this is indeed! You need to experience this resort for yourself to understand the professional assistance you get from the staff working at the resort... they even offer you a change of pillows to make your nights sleep better, we definitely made use of this option! The resort is on the beach no need to walk far to reach the beach, also a lot of fun activities to do inside the resort. Will most certainly visit this resort again... They get a full star rating from me 谢谢 to the staff of this resort!

The boutique hotel is located within the famed sanfangqixiang tourist area and is a refurbished olden style building. Many eateries and malls around and walkable from the train station. Breakfast is provided which allowed us to try the local style fishballs and wantons. The staff also drove a buggy to help us get our luggage from the hotel to the edge of the tourist area when we left. However because the building is so old, the floorboards within the room creaks a lot when walked on. We were there in June (summer) and there were mosquitoes in the room even though we closed the windows and doors. The mini fridge was plugged in but it didn’t seem to work. The room is also a lot smaller than how the picture shows, since the picture was taken with a wide angle lens. Overall an interesting and functional hotel for 1-2 nights stay.

The location is super convenient and beside the metro. The mall is across the street and there is plenty of eateries around. Short walking distance to Sanfanqixiang. Room abit old and dated but acceptable due to location.

The hotel is close to Fuzhou South Station, and it is convenient for eating and transportation around! The buffet breakfast is also good 👍I stayed for one night and went to the Shipbuilding Museum the next day. It felt very convenient! If you don’t like the noise of Sanfang Qixiang, it is highly recommended to stay here! There is also a Liangcuo Ancient Village and Straits Cultural Center around, which are worth visiting!

We REALLY enjoyed our stay here. The staff are very polite, helpful and hardworking! There's the nice note in the hotel room with some snacks. Room also had several travel reference guides with lots of pictures. Great for last minute planning! Receptionists were very kind when answering some rather silly questions, haha. We only stayed one night, the next day it was different staff. I had asked them for the name of the staff member who check us in, so here's a shout out to ”小莲” ”Little Lotus” Thanks for your help! Highly recommend anyone to stay here! 5/5

The hotel is in a great location, only a 7-8 minute walk from the Guanyu Temple and Qingjing Temple, attractions in the old city. There are also many commercial restaurants around it. The hotel's breakfast is very rich, and you can taste almost all kinds of local snacks, which is consistent with the quality of a four-star hotel. In particular, the service of delivering Yexiao desserts and fruits to the room makes people feel warm. The only drawback is that the room sound insulation is not very good.

Have stayed here before, good location for business travelers, nearby food /restaurants and Starbucks attached to lobby. The hotel no longer provides simple amenities like toothbrush, tooth paste, q tips, etc so if you stay be sure to bring your own.

The service is very good, very warm and attentive. Especially the room cleaning. I put a few small bottles of skin care products on the table, thinking that I would save myself the trouble of cleaning the table. But when I came back at night, I found that the bottles were neatly placed, with a small towel underneath and a warm little card written on it. I was very impressed.

The hotel is quite new. The room is spacious, clean, and very automatic!! There are many breakfast choices, including typical Chinese and Western breakfasts. coffee is okay too!

The hotel room is clean and neat, Hotel staff are alert, friendly, polite and prompt action to our needs. We have a wonderful night to celebrate father's birthday with a surprised hotel complementary birthday cake and well served by a kind Hotel staff especially Miss Orange 徐红 . We will definitely book this hotel again if we return to QuanZhou city. Keep up to good works!

I feel that this is the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed in so far. The hotel is well designed, and the hardware facilities and surrounding restaurants are all good. The comfort level is very good. I highly recommend staying here.

there is a mall across it which is very convenient with a lot of restaurants to choose from. the staffs are polite. check in check out process was fast. there were weddings and birthday parties everyday during oir stay. its quite popular for parties.

This is best hotel in Shishi … the rooms are very big , much spacious , have all amenities , clean rooms. Breakfast is amazing… have wide range of options. Healthy breakfast options. Must stay again and again in same hotel whenever visit Shishi
