Family Friendly Hotels in Chongqing, China

The homestay in Gongtan Ancient Town is very close to the cruise ship terminal. You can sit on the balcony of the room and enjoy the view of both sides of the Wujiang River. It is very pleasant. The proprietress is enthusiastic and helped us buy cruise tickets in advance with discounts. The only drawback is that there is no breakfast, but fortunately there is a restaurant next to it.

The room is clean and big. I booked a room with a bathtub and a balcony. The location is convenient and easy to find. It is the first one you take the elevator up from the South Gate Tourist Information Center. The owner is warm and helpful. He even picked us up. He has a cat 🐱 that you can touch. It is very well behaved. Unfortunately, when I wanted to hug it again the next day, it slipped out to play and I didn't see it. There is a pier downstairs where you can take a boat. I also saw the stars at night. The lights are turned on at 7pm. There are many lanterns, which are very beautiful. It was off-season when I went there. There were not many tourists. It was quiet. It was nice to walk around and relax. The water of Wujiang River is as green as emerald, which is very beautiful.

This hotel is far exceed my expectations. Location is great and convenience to tourist attractions. It is near to train/bus station. You can walk 2-10 minutes to Chongqing Museum Art, Jiafangfei Square, Hongyadong, Huxinglou Square. It also near to Lizaba station, Chongqing Zoo, Three Gorge Museum, Wide Tea (Sunset Cafe) by drive. The rooms are clean in every part of it. Staff are friendly and helpful. Their services/hospitalities are amazing with their professional. Staff and Housekeepers always give us smile which make us feel more warmth. Local food court is everywhere nearby hotel. I would stay here again if I have a chance to visit Chongqing again.

The experience of this stay was really beyond expectations! From the moment I stepped into the homestay, I felt the warm reception of the staff. The boss's service attitude is super good, which makes people feel the warmth of home instantly. Maybe it was just after the festival when we went there, and there were fewer people, so the boss upgraded the room type. The room design is simple and generous, and the hygiene details are very good! The bedding is soft and comfortable, there is no odor at all, and even the corners are spotless. I especially like the view outside the window, and the morning sun shines in, which is particularly healing. The facilities are also very considerate, with air conditioning, WiFi, and toiletries. The location is also OK, you can walk to the surrounding restaurants, with rich choices, and you can take a walk in the evening to feel the local life. The boss's breakfast is also delicious, and such a careful management must be praised! Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is an excellent choice. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and look forward to seeing you next time!

We had a great stay at this hotel! The place was very clean, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. One of the highlights was definitely the helpful and friendly staff..even though there was a bit of a language barrier, they went out of their way to assist us and made sure we had everything we needed. The front counter was well-stocked with a variety of food and drinks, which was a really nice touch for guests on the go. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and work hard to make your stay pleasant. The view of the river outside is also very beautiful, the space of the hall is very spacious, there is free tea to drink, the stay is pleasant and very satisfactory. The location is very convenient, the room is clean and tidy, the staff at the counter is friendly and enthusiastic, the service attitude is very good, the receptionist Ting Ting sent me a lot of good food nearby, as well as a collection of Chongqing cuisine, which helped us avoid some attractions. The best part is that they provide laundry and drying services. I will come again and recommend it to my friends. Qixing Building, Bai Xiang Residence, Yangtze River Cableway, Eling Second Factory, and Li Zi Ba, these places are all very close to the hotel. The night view is really beautiful, you can see the night view of Chongqing while lying in bed.

The room is kinda small. But location is good. Got push cart along the road side. Walking distance to HOng Ya dong. Got a few convenient stall and steamboat along the stretch. There's voice control on room too! However no fridge in room

Excellent location with literally 5 mins walk to the busy pedestrian street. Hotel is located within and office blocks, fairly common for all the hotel within the city vicinity. Easy to find the hotel with good signage on ground level. Very central location, with easy pickup/drop off to move around with Didi. The room is spacious, and functional. Has an in-room washing machine with dryer which is fully functional. They provided laundry detergents, so very helpful. Staff are friendly, prompt and helpful. Appreciate that they connect me to the highly sought after dinner cum performance 礼宴. Value stay.

We had an amazing experience staying in Mercure Chongqing. The location was excellent and within walking distance of many shops and places to eat. The front reception staff are very friendly and helpful. We communicated using online translator but the communication was fantastic. The staff made our stay extra comfortable, and assisted us with everything we needed. The rooms were very clean and we had all the amenities we needed. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit Chongqing!

I went to 7 cities in China and experienced different hotels and i can say Walling Hotel place is no. 1 for me!! The service is excellent, Team no. 3 is so helpful, they are very kind, can speak english and they provide helpful tourist information for Chongqing. The family suite that i booked is amazing - clean and the equipments are great (toilet, hair dryer, shower, everything~), the living room is so spacious so my family can chill in there, got washer and dryer, the breakfast is also great got many varieties! Everyone is so kind and friendly, and not to forget the cleaning 阿姨 is so kind and helpful, i asked my laundry that has been dried to be put aside and she went beyond by helping folding the laundry and putting it in our room nicely. When we checked out they gave us a lovely Chongqing snacks, me and my family ate it on our way to another city and the taste are great!  Thank you so much to the Walling Hotel Chongqing staffs for a really great experience while me and my family stayed in your hotel, I wish many more people will stay in your hotel and I hope to stay in this hotel again when I'm back visiting Chongqing!
