Krakow, Poland's second-largest city, is an ancient city brimming with medieval charm and rich history. Once the capital of the Kingdom of Poland, it boasts a well-preserved Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, perfect for in-depth exploration. Central Market Square (Rynek Główny): One of Europe's largest medieval town squares. Surrounded by luxurious residences, open-air cafes, shops, and historical buildings, it offers opportunities for horse-drawn carriage rides to experience the Old Town's atmosphere. St. Mary's Basilica: Located in the Central Square, this Gothic church features two spires of varying heights. Horns are sounded from the spires every hour. Wawel Royal Castle & Cathedral: Perched on Wawel Hill overlooking the Vistula River, this former residence of Polish kings comprises a diverse complex of churches, palaces, and gardens, blending various architectural styles. In December, we encountered the Christmas market here again.
