Before its five-year hiatus, the Centre Pompidou presents Paris Noir, an exhibition focusing on African artists active in Paris between the 1940s and 2000.
African artists have received much attention in recent years, and they have practiced and explored various fields from international abstractionism to African and Atlantic abstractionism, from surrealism to free painting, in order to seek identity recognition.
However, many of their works have never been exhibited in France before. The exhibition includes works by 150 artists from the United States and Africa. Five contemporary African artists have specially created five art installations for the exhibition, interpreting the memories of African artists in Paris from a contemporary perspective.

Great place to visit but can get very crowded around the &quot;must sees&quot; I would highly recommended at least a 2pm slot as the museum is massive and it&#39;ll take a long time to go through all the wings. I went for the 7pm slot and didn&#39;t realise how big it was. Only managed to go through one wing before it closed!

What a magnificent structure. The view of Paris is wonderful. You have the option to take the lift or use the stairs.

Notre Dame is worth it. It is one of the most famous attractions in Paris and a must visit attraction. It was rainy today and the queue was long. Very crowded. Enter the interior of Notre Dame, deeply attracted by the exquisite religious works of the interior decoration, statues, murals, tapestries and so on. Taking a lot of photos and reading a lot of religious knowledge. Worth a visit.

Visiting the Palace of Versailles was an amazing experience, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The palace is about an hour away from the city by train. The gardens are super vast, so be prepared for a lot of walking (suggest to rent a bicycle, golf car or take the shuttle train🤔). There is no need to add the musical show to your ticket if it&rsquo;s scheduled during your visit&mdash;it was free when I went on april. Also, bring some food with you, as dining options inside can be limited and pricey.Keep in mind that once your ticket is scanned, you can only enter the palace once. Make sure to explore the entire palace before stepping out. I arrived 2&ndash;3 hours later than my booking time but was still able to enter without any issues. Be prepared for long queues, especially during peak hours.Overall, it was worth the visit despite the minor inconveniences!

The last stop before leaving Paris, I chose the Pompidou Art Center. The building is very unique, like a large industrial factory. No wonder it is written in the modern industrial style on the Internet. Tickets are purchased online and the ticket is issued fairly fast, and it took less than an hour. Art exhibition, although there is no art cell, but follow the feeling, slowly have to go, slowly have to go, with their own perspective to understand, appreciate.
