I&#39;ve visited the Qingdao Beer Museum several times, and I&#39;ve brought back beer for friends and family many times. They all love it; it tastes better than other beers. I recommend the guide, Ding Xuanxuan (2001), she explains things very well.

Laoshan has many scenic areas. I had only visited Taiqing Palace and Jufeng before. This time I went to Huayan Cave. The scenery was quite nice. The main purpose was to see Yanluo Cave. It takes about 40 minutes to climb to the top of the mountain if you are fast. The mountain is not difficult to climb. The scenery along the way is nice and worth a visit.

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the official WeChat account or major travel platforms.

A general admission ticket is 170 yuan, with student discounts available. There might be queues at the ticket counter, so buying in advance is much more convenient.

Itinerary
We recommend starting with the Dreamy Jellyfish Palace, where the colorful jellyfish under the lights create a dreamlike scene, perfect for taking photos. Next, head to the Seal Pavilion to see the adorable seals. Now for the highlights: the Marine Life Pavilion and Whale Pavilion have many precious specimens, where you can learn a lot about the ocean. Then, there&#39;s the incredible underwater tunnel! Stretching nearly 100 meters, walking in feels like being surrounded by fish from every angle, with sharks, turtles, and rays swimming right beside you&mdash;the feeling is indescribable. It&#39;s also a great place for taking photos; even a simple shot on the escalator has a great atmosphere.

Finally, head to the freshwater aquarium to see some unique freshwater creatures.

Show Times: Don&#39;t forget to check the times for the mermaid show and the shark and human show; they&#39;re spectacular. Arrive half an hour early to secure a good front-row seat.

I did some research beforehand, but once I got there, I realized nothing is as reliable as going during the off-season.

The only thing to note is to buy tickets a day in advance; it&#39;s 60 yuan cheaper than buying on the spot or just in advance.

We arrived around 12:00 PM and spent three hours there. We visited the polar aquarium, saw the mermaid show, the beluga whale show, the whale and dolphin show, but didn&#39;t see the sea lion or science and magic show because the kids were tired and we left.

While we were walking around, it didn&#39;t seem crowded, but it got quite busy during the shows. Arriving early to get a good spot greatly improves the experience.
