Putuoshan Scenic Area (located in Putuo District, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province) is one of China&#39;s four sacred Buddhist mountains, renowned for its worship of Guanyin Bodhisattva. It is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. Putuoshan Scenic Area is permitted.

1. Landmark of the Buddhist Kingdom by the Sea

33m Standing Guanyin Statue: Cast in imitation gold bronze, with her left hand holding a Dharma wheel and her right hand in the Abhaya Mudra (gesture of fearlessness), facing the sea, it is the most striking visual symbol of Putuoshan.

The Unwilling-to-Leave Guanyin Temple: Originally built in the Tang Dynasty, it is the site of the legend of a Japanese monk leaving his image and building the temple. Together with the Purple Bamboo Forest and Chaoyin Cave, it forms the cultural origin of the &quot;Guanyin Refuses to Leave&quot; story.

2. Three Ancient Temple Clusters

I decided to bring my children here when I got off Putuo and there was still some time before my flight. The half-price discount was very cost-effective. The venue is not big but the movement line is very reasonable. I played in it for an entire afternoon and the children were reluctant to leave until it closed. It was great.
