Representing Hong Kong in a Collateral Event at the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, Trevor Yeung returns to M+ with a new configuration of his commissioned solo exhibition, Trevor Yeung: Courtyard of Attachments, Hong Kong in Venice. Yeung’s installations explore the relationships between human and aquatic ecosystems and comment on the emotional disconnections and power dynamics of contemporary society. Restaged in a museum setting, the exhibition shifts focus to discuss larger environmental and systemic issues. This response exhibition is part of the sixth collaboration between M+ and Hong Kong Arts Development Council on Hong Kong’s presentation during the Biennale.

Hong Kong Disneyland is one of the popular theme parks in Asia, attracting tourists with its unique fairy tale atmosphere and family-friendly entertainment projects. Although the park is smaller than other Disneylands, it has compact facilities and reasonable routes for day trips. Classic projects such as &quot;Grizzly Bear Valley Speed Mining Car&quot; and &quot;Lost Manor&quot; are full of creativity, and the night light show &quot;Disney Star Dream Light and Shadow Tour&quot; is an audio-visual feast. However, some tourists believe that the price of dining in the park is high, and the traffic is large on holidays and the queue time is long. In addition, Hong Kong Disneyland&#39;s IP linkage and update speed is slightly insufficient compared to Shanghai or Tokyo Disneyland. Overall, it is still a good choice for parent-child travel and Disney fans, but it is recommended to avoid peak hours and plan your trip in advance to enhance the experience.

Remember you can bring food, snacks, and drinks in this park for personal consumption, so you do not need to purchase food at the park. Also, remember to pay attention to the show and time schedules in the main entrance. We almost missed the younger pandas viewing. Unfortunately, there were at least 2 rides under maintainence (the polar express and another roller coaster that had a light purple colour). Almost all the rides have height restrictions. For kids around the age of 5 that has a height less than 122cm, then they can only ride on the polar express roller coaster and the rides in the kids area. In the kids area, there are only a small merry-go-around, a train ride, a playground, a rock climbing slope, and a maze. In the adults area, kids under 122cm can go on the adult ferris wheel, viewing tower, adult merry-go-around. Also, this amusement park closes around 7pm, so schedule your time wisely. Cable car is definitely worth riding on. The sceneries were amazing. It has a limit of 6 people per cable car. It takes approximately 8-12 minutes per ride. The other under the sea train ride only takes 5 minutes or so, and arrives at a similar destination. The under the sea train has no scenery other than the digital and light effects inside the train. We ate at the rainforest snack shack. It was HKD $88 per snack. We picked fries and chicken wings. If you buy in multiples of 2, then the price is around HKD $156 or so. I tried the clown roller coaster, and it was rather short. Honestly, all the rides durations are shorter compared to other theme parks that I visited. This is more suitable for families that love animals, instead of young people that want the excitement from rides.

No one comes to Hong Kong without visiting Victoria Peak, but the few times I went there before I took the cable car up and down. This time I followed a few friends to do a night hike from Central. Hike the mountains and walk on the moon in search of immortals, swim in the sea and chase the waves and play with dragons. The approximate route is Central Garden Road and Mid-Levels Escalator - Old Peak Road - Victoria Peak - down to Central. I have to say that Hong Kong is really suitable for hiking. This route is not difficult and it takes about 40 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. The happiness of climbing up by yourself and looking at the night view is something you can never experience by taking the cable car. Then I saw a wild boar 🐗 crossing the road.

amazing view going up the peak on the tram! it can be a bit packed depending on the time you head there and the seats require some strategic planning if you intend to catch good view of the scenery. there are a handful of eateries and shops to browse as well as opportunities to capture the skyline of the city.

M+ Museum is the first international contemporary visual culture museum in Asia. Since its settlement in the center of the West Kowloon Cultural District in 2021, it has become a new cultural landmark in Hong Kong. From the perspective of architectural design, M+ has been designed by a world-renowned architectural firm Herzog &amp; de Meuron. The building is covered with ceramic tiles, and its southern exterior wall is equipped with a multi-functional LED display system of 110 meters high and 66 meters wide M+ curtain wall. At 6 o&#39;clock every night, the LED lights are on, and the flowing visual culture is reflected on the seafront of Victoria Harbour. The underground railway tunnel is the most distinctive display space for M+. The unique architectural structure provides a different venue for the art exhibition. The collection is rich and varied. Among them, the M+ Hick collection is a treasure trove, which is more than 1,500 Chinese contemporary art donated by Swiss collector and diplomat Uli Hick, and has been created for 40 years. There are also neon signs collected from all over Hong Kong, displayed in the exhibition hall of the Rehabilitation and Custody Center near the main entrance, the Niu Niu of &quot;Sen Mei Restaurant&quot; and the Rooster of &quot;Chicken Notes Sparrow Play&quot;, which showcases Hong Kong&#39;s fireworks atmosphere and M+&#39;s efforts in neon conservation. M+&#39;s exhibition is wonderful. He has held hot theme exhibitions such as Caojian Yaisheng and Pei Xuming. In 2025, the exhibition &quot;Guo Pei: Yixiang Tiankai&quot; shows the Chinese fashion artist&#39;s high-level custom works combining international fashion and Chinese cultural heritage.
