Bodies might interpenetrate, split apart, or open a window into their innards, exposing gurgling intestines or a fetus waving happily from inside a womb. A central character of this universe is Mr. K, whose goggling, bloodshot eyes and bowler hat make him an avatar of the artist himself, and whose “elegant life” these pictures describe.
