Basic Information

&bull; Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00-17:00 (last entry at 16:00).

&bull; Admission: Free.

The Zhenjiang Museum is a comprehensive local history museum and a national first-class museum. The exhibition hall is not large, divided into two floors. The exhibits mainly focus on porcelain, bronzes, gold and silver artifacts. A complete tour takes about 2 hours. Children can learn about many historical artifacts here, which is a great experience.

Directions: Take bus No. 2 from the North Square of Zhenjiang Railway Station to Boxian Park stop, then walk back 200 meters. Buses No. 12, 102, and 104 also go there.

Since it was my first time in Zhenjiang, I definitely had to visit this place. I bought my ticket a day in advance, saving 5 yuan&mdash;better than nothing!

Jinshan Temple was the main attraction, but it was incredibly crowded on the weekend, making it virtually impossible to take a photo without people. Even the small path leading up was packed!

Finally, I went to the boat dock to ride an electric boat. Seeing Jinshan Temple from afar was a nice alternative.

I had long yearned to visit Beigu Mountain, one of the three mountains of Zhenjiang, and finally, my wish came true. Climbing Duojing Tower and Beigu Tower, I enjoyed panoramic views of the river and the city, taking in the breathtaking scenery. It was definitely worth the trip.

Maoshan Scenic Area blends Taoist culture with natural scenery, boasting beautiful mountains, high forest coverage, and fresh air. The main Taoist temples and palaces attract many visitors and feature distinctive architecture. Touring by scenic shuttle bus is relatively easy, and the views from the summit are expansive. It gets very crowded during holidays, so early departure is recommended. Suitable for tourists who enjoy cultural history and short, relaxing hikes.

Jiaoshan is generally well-maintained, and the autumn colors are at their peak this season. The ancient ginkgo trees paired with the temples are particularly striking. Two points to complain about: 1. The ticket price is 65 yuan for the day of purchase and 45 yuan for the following day. Isn&#39;t this a harsh punishment for same-day ticket buyers? 2. Jiaoshan is a great place to watch the sunset, but unfortunately, the last ferry leaves at 5 pm. Leaving the island means missing the most beautiful sunset over the river, which is quite a pity.
