The ancient city of Jingzhou is called Jiangling City. During the Spring and Autumn Warring States Period, the ancient city of Jingzhou was built, and it was the capital of Chu. In the East Jin Yonghe eight years (352), the first largest city construction in Jingzhou City Construction history, connecting the old city of Han Dynasty with the new city built by Guan Yu, and increasing the height and thickening the city. The main body of the scenic spot is the complete ancient city wall. The existing city wall is rebuilt according to the old foundation of the Ming Dynasty for three years (1646), and is based on glutinous rice lime grouting seams, brick city walls and earth city walls. There are 9 city gates in Jingzhou Ancient City; 2 city buildings. The ancient city is divided into three floors, the outside is the water city, the middle is the brick city, the inside is the earth city. The water city (moat) is about 13,000 meters long, 30-250 meters wide, the average water depth is 4 meters, Xitong Taihu Lake, East Lianchang Lake, and the ancient canal are connected. The main landscapes of Jingzhou Ancient City are Binyang Building, Tibetan Bingdong, Fort, text brick, Chaozong Building, City Wall Museum, Public Security Gate (Water Gate), Zhongxuan Building Site, Qucheng, Nanjimen, Yuan&#39;anmen, Anlanmen, etc. Jingzhou Ancient City Scenic Area has 5 attractions, namely: Dongmen Scenic Area, Jingzhou City Wall Museum, Dabeimen Chaozonglou Scenic Area, Ximen Scenic Area, Nanjimen Scenic Area.
