Shanghai residents are so lucky! They have so many excellent resources right on their doorstep: culture and art, leisure and entertainment, various lectures, etc., all if you&#39;re willing to put in the effort. The China Art Museum is one of my regular haunts. The exhibits are all of national-level high standard, like this one. And it&#39;s free! The staff in the exhibition hall are also extremely helpful; kudos to them! 👍 It would be a real shame not to take advantage of Shanghai&#39;s superior resources! Before visiting this exhibition, I also signed up for a lecture by Professor Zhang Shuguang, which gave me a better understanding of how to appreciate oil paintings and the absorption and development of Western oil painting in my country&mdash;I benefited greatly from it.

Early bird tickets are slightly cheaper. I went around noon on Sunday, and it was great not having to walk around the lake. I waited a little while in line for security. Entering the park directly by scanning my ID card was very convenient. The town was also full of Christmas atmosphere.

Aside from being a bit out of the way, everything else was great. There was a wide variety of marine life and exciting shows, especially the orca show, which was particularly spectacular. The children had a blast and didn&#39;t want to leave.
