Jiangning Tangshan Fangshan Park is one of the parks of Tangshan and Fangshan National Geopark. Fangshan is one of the scenic spots of Jinling. It is called Tianyin Fangshan because of its unique shape. Fangshan is a volcano that erupted 10 million years ago, preserving various rocks that erupted. It is a typical representative of the volcano erupting in the same period in eastern China. Fangshan has two entrances to the north and west, and there are more than 30 attractions such as 18 plates, Tianyin Palace, Laoshilongchi, Dinglin Temple, Dinglin Leaning Tower, and Ziwu Caiyuan. Fangshan, which has the remains of volcanic eruption, has become a national geological park integrating the characteristics of mountains, the green of forests, the wonder of stones, the strangeness of towers and the ancient temples. The famous Dinglin Temple Tower is located in the north of Fangshan Mountain. It was built in the Southern Song Dynasty and is an affiliated building of Dinglin Temple. It has a history of more than 830 years. The tower is a seven-level and eight-sided wooden structure pavilion, about 13 meters high. This tower is specially designed for Buddha statues. The tower is beautifully shaped, finely carved and unique. Dinglin Temple Tower is currently the oldest pavilion-style hard tower in Nanjing, and is listed as a provincial cultural relics protection unit. Fangshan has a purple mist tea garden, and the tea garden soil is rich in minerals.
