ZIMIHC theater Wittevrouwen in Utrecht presents the delightful children's performance "Kerstvlokjes (3+)" every month from September to May. This month, Marianne van Houten takes us on a magical journey through the most beautiful and entertaining Christmas songs, wrapped in a unique and surprising Christmas story. As Marianne receives not only Christmas cards but also a birth announcement, she embarks on a visit to the newborn. Along the way, she encounters a shepherd who has lost a little sheep. Will they find the sheep together? And of course, there will be a sleigh ride, so come along! This heartwarming story combines elements from the original Christmas tale with contemporary Christmas themes, including the beloved Christmas tree. Throughout the performance, familiar Christmas songs are ingeniously woven into the narrative, with adapted lyrics to perfectly fit the story. Accompanied by the talented pianist Bert van der Brink, Marianne also showcases her own musical talents.
