JJ Gallery will hold an exhibition of painter Hyeonkyeong You as the first exhibition of the new year 2025. Hyeonkyeong You, who currently lives in Berlin, Germany and is active in Seoul, is an artist who is loyal to the art of painting or the essence of painting. She mainly uses everyday people, houses and landscapes to express abstract emotions and ideas that arise in her heart through paintings. This exhibition "Hyeonkyeong You: I Want to Go to the Other Shore" uses landscape as the theme. Unlike the common portraits in her previous works, she shows a wider world through natural scenery, which contains emotions and memories of a certain place and ancient times. The exhibition is centered on the new landscape painting series "Wilderness", with a total of 15 oil paintings including self-portraits, depicting the natural style of Berlin
