Join the Black Writers' Workshop, hosted by Cass Dyce, now at LOVING ROOM: diaspora books + salon in Seattle, Washington. This empowering event takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 5:30-7:30pm. The workshop provides a supportive space for Black writers to connect, create, and inspire one another. Whether you missed the first session in June or attended, all Black writers are encouraged to join on September 20th. Cassidy A. Dyce, a talented storyteller and writer based in Seattle, is the host of this workshop. Cassidy has worked alongside renowned poet and Newberry Prize winner Kwame Alexander and has contributed to NPR's Morning Edition Poetry segment. She is also co-authoring a graphic novel trilogy with Kwame called Brainstormerz, set to be released in 2025. Cassidy is dedicated to fostering a love for creative writing and literature, as she works with Seattle Arts and Writer-In-The-Schools (WITS) program. The event will be held at LOVING ROOM, located at 1400 20th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122. Please note that street parking is available, and the venue is ADA accessible. Facemasks are also available, although not required. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to connect with other Black creatives and elevate your writing skills! Admission is free.

Chihuly is a gorgeous work of art near the space needle.   The interior museum features beautiful glass installations. my favorite was the atrium with the glass flowers.

The University of Washington (UW) is a public research university located in Washington State, USA. It is not only the oldest public university on the West Coast of the United States, but also one of the top three most beautiful universities in the United States! If you come to Seattle, please make sure to arrange a day to visit, you will not be disappointed! UW is famous for its beautiful natural environment and excellent academic atmosphere. Walking on the campus, you will find green trees, birds singing and flowers blooming, as if you are in a huge botanical park. There are many iconic buildings on campus, the most famous of which is the Harry Potter-style library, which is jokingly called Suzhou Building by the Chinese. This magnificent building is not only a holy place for academic research, but also a popular place for taking photos. Standing in front of the library, you will be shocked by its solemn momentum, and even more shocking is the scene of the fountain and snow-capped mountains reflecting each other. Every year during the cherry blossom season, countless tourists from home and abroad flock here to watch this unique natural wonder!

The Seattle Museum of Flight is next to Boeing, with two indoor and outdoor exhibition areas, featuring Boeing products: from transport aircraft, fighter jets to passenger aircraft. There is also a wax figure of Premier Zhou and Nixon shaking hands, set in the background of Air Force One, Nixon&#39;s first visit to China in 1972.
