Experience a curated collection of short scripts, plays, and other written works brought to life by a talented cast of actors at Write Club. Filmmakers, writers, actors, and artists are welcome to submit their short form writing for consideration in this month’s event. Selected pieces will be performed live, with the exception of self-performed poetry. Attendees can gather with friends to watch the performances and receive valuable feedback during the structured workshop session. Write Club serves as a platform for emerging artists to engage in constructive conversations, ask questions, and refine their craft in a supportive community setting. For those who prefer to simply enjoy the artistry, general admission tickets are available. Submissions are accepted until March 15th and may be considered for future events if not chosen initially. Join us at Nook in Brooklyn, located at 45 Irving Avenue #Unit 1, Brooklyn, NY 11237, on June 7, 2024. Tickets will be on sale starting May 1 at 12:00 AM. Remember, a two-drink minimum or food order is required, and please show appreciation for the staff by tipping your baristas and bartenders.
