Explore the art of clay wheel throwing in a workshop led by resident artist Kass O'Brien at the Arts Warehouse in Delray Beach. This workshop is perfect for beginners or intermediate artists seeking a refresher. No prior experience is necessary! Under Kass's expert guidance, participants will learn the techniques of wheel throwing, from shaping the clay to manipulating it on the wheel. Each attendee will have the opportunity to create 2 - 3 clay items of their own. Once fired, the pieces will be glazed by the instructor, and students can choose from 3 glaze color options. Please note that a follow-up visit is required to collect your fired pieces, and you will be notified when they are ready for pickup. The workshop is open to students aged 16 and above, and all materials will be provided. Spaces are limited to 6 students, so be sure to secure your spot. Refunds are available if requested 72+ hours before the workshop, and ticket transfers can be accommodated once outside of the 72-hour mark.
