FabLab Coventry and Underground Lights are teaming up to offer free costume and woodwork workshops for the Woodwork Workshops event in Coventry. This collaboration aims to create stunning set designs and costumes for the upcoming Lights Up! Project performance at the Belgrade Theatre in February 2024. The workshops will be held at FabLab's "Eco Furniture Factory" located at Fargo Village, providing participants with the opportunity to learn new skills from professional instructors while surrounded by state-of-the-art equipment.

FabLab prides itself on offering a warm and welcoming environment that is open to all. You are invited to drop-in at your convenience and choose the sessions that suit you best. Aprons, safety goggles, and all the necessary support will be provided by FabLab. However, it is advisable to avoid loose or dangly clothing and jewelry that could potentially get caught in the machines. Additionally, comfortable footwear that covers your toes is recommended. If you have long hair, it would be helpful to tie it back for safety reasons.

The woodwork workshop will take place every Monday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with the exception of the half-term break on Monday, October 23rd. FabLab's Eco Furniture Factory is located at Unit 4, Fargo Village, Coventry, CV1 5ED. Although booking is recommended, there are also drop-in spaces available for those who haven't made prior arrangements.
