“Although
 the result is obtained by chemical means, the little work it entails 
will greatly please ladies.” So wrote one of photography’s inventors, 
Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre (1787–1851), about his eponymous 
daguerreotype in 1839. Daguerre’s words, which associate women with 
idleness, are clearly misogynistic. Yet in a backhanded way, Daguerre 
predicted the pivotal role women would play
 in photography since its invention in the 1830s. Undaunted by 
photographic chemistry—and often neglected or derided by their male 
peers—women have made huge contributions to the development of the 
medium across a variety of genres.

Although this is not the small exhibition with the widest collection I have ever seen, the exhibits are indeed selected and the building itself is excellent - especially when it is cold or rainy. Also, it is free admission and worth a visit!

The weapons square in Santiago, the capital of Chile, was a bit scary to see the Raiders before going there. It was said that there were riots, thieves, robberies, etc., so I was very cautious. I said that the mobile phone and camera could not be exposed. It made our hearts panic. When we got there, it was really the mobile phone that we didn&rsquo;t dare to take it out. Seeing that the church is very beautiful, took out a photo and quickly collected the pocket. Later, we entered the church and circled the square, and it didn&#39;t feel as terrible as it was written on the Internet! Then I saw that there was someone on the balcony of the museum next to it. We also went in. The museum is free, but the bag needs to be stored. You can use the kind of locker that looks like a dollar coin to store by yourself. Go upstairs and there is a room that can climb to the balcony of the clock tower on the top floor. But you need to wait for it to be about 20 minutes, and you can take a group of about 6 people at a time, because the stairs are very narrow and can only be passed by one person. When you get to the top, you can take the last picture overlooking the church. It feels good.
