We are partnering with our fabulous neighbours from Summerland Smoke Shack again! We are offering a plated Brisket dinner. This savoury plate comes piled high with meat, coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans and a dinner roll. As well as a seasonal fruit crumble dessert and ice cream. Included is a glass of wine from a selection of Lightning Rock favourites.

Definitely worth a visit if you are going to Phillip Island. You are able to see the penguins arrive at dusk at the beach, and subsequently see them to go their homes at the broad walk. Also saw some wallabies on the broad walk.

It is worth watching the penguin parade, and the town is also very nice. To watch the penguin parade, you need to bring a down jacket, buy a regular ticket, and sit in the front row on the right side facing the sea. This is the route I saw the penguins coming up. Then when I saw more penguins coming back, I immediately returned to the corridor and watched the penguins parade from a close distance on the left side. It was very clear at the light with railings. It is also beautiful to watch Nobbis Point during the day. There are kangaroos in the grass nearby. If you look carefully, you will see penguins that have not gone out to sea basking in the sun.
