The workshop will take place on Tuesday, December 12, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the esteemed Pat Conroy Literary Center in Beaufort, South Carolina. The registration fee is $45 per person. Dr. Jacquelyn Markham, a highly accomplished poet, writer, and educator, will guide you through this transformative experience. With over three decades of experience in writing, teaching, and publishing poetry, Dr. Markham holds a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Creative Writing with a specialization in poetry from Florida State University. Her impressive portfolio includes numerous publications in esteemed literary journals, magazines, and anthologies. She has received multiple grants and awards for her literary contributions, including the prestigious Adele Mellen Prize for distinguished scholarship. Dr. Markham currently resides near the scenic South Carolina coast, where she continues to mentor aspiring poets and writers.
