Weekends at Wirth presents an exhilarating opportunity for young people and families to participate in action-packed snowboarding lessons at Wirth Mountain in Minneapolis. These thrilling lessons are available every weekend, starting from January 27th, and are tailored for youth aged 8 to 14 of all genders. The lessons take place at Theodore Wirth Park, a conveniently accessible location, offering affordable prices for an unforgettable experience.

During the 90-minute sessions, participants will benefit from personalized instruction in small groups of six. Families can join in the fun for a donation of $0.00 to $15.00 per child, paying what they can afford with a maximum of $15.00. Most participants choose to contribute $10.00 to $15.00 or make a donation to Melanin In Motion at the season finale.

The cost covers lift tickets, equipment rental, and expert guidance from our experienced instructors. There are two available sessions per day, on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. It is highly encouraged for students to attend a minimum of three lessons to fully embrace the snowboarding adventure.

As a special reward, each participant who completes three lessons will receive a lift ticket for their family to enjoy at Trollhaugen Ski Resort.
