. Everyone is welcome to join us for a day of hiking and networking in the great outdoors. Feel free to come alone - most Freshwalkers do - and you'll be warmly welcomed or invite a colleague or client along for company.
Route description
The walk begins outside Waterloo Sunset Cafe, close to Marine Lake.
We’ll head straight for the seafront to join the Sefton coastal path, walking in the direction of Crosby Beach, permanent home to ‘Another Place’, the sculpture by internationally acclaimed artist, Antony Gormley.
Passing through Crosby we’ll walk along the coast, close to Blundellsands and Hall Road stations, offering slightly later options to join our group.
We’ve suggested the RNLI station on Crosby Beach as a fixed meeting point 4km into our route, accessible from Hall Road station (7 mins walk).
We then cut inland temporarily to circumnavigate Altcar rifle range before a final stretch of beach along Formby Point. We plan to end our walk at The Freshfield public house and will pass the train station en-route (7 mins walk away) where you can head back to Liverpool or the start of the walk.

Parking:
 Drivers are advised to park at either Freshfield station or The Freshfield public house and catch the 10:10 train from Freshfield to arrive at the walk start in Waterloo at 10:24. This way your car is waiting for you at the end of the walk.
Public transport:
 Please take the 10:08 train from Liverpool Central to arrive in Waterloo at 10:25. NB. Make sure you buy a return ticket to Freshfield which is where we return from.

Anfield has always been a nice stadium. The Kop driving the atmosphere into the other stands. Now they two stands have been extended I have been worried that the atmosphere might be lost, particularly when seared in the upper tiers but having experienced several seat locations I have to say that it&#39;s as good as ever. Probably one of the good stadiums in Europe.The exterior has been vastly improved over the years too , We did the stadium tour and it was very good. Audio tour on every corner. 😃

A good exhibition. I only knew the songs before, but now I know the story. The Chinese introduction is very good. I found the answers to many details I didn&#39;t know. It&#39;s worth going to the bar again and comparing it with here. It&#39;s very interesting.

This church looks ordinary from the outside, but you will be amazed once you enter. It feels very beautiful as soon as you enter. It is super big inside. It is recommended to come here on Sundays. There will be a choir every Sunday. You can pray with the locals and feel the atmosphere.

This museum did not understand at the beginning. It was his son who insisted on going. It rained and took a taxi. It was indeed full of harvests. The gods in it returned to the special exhibition. They were all ancient Roman artifacts. They were statues from Zeus to the next in ancient Greece. You can see the complete Venus. There is also the cool Athena 😄 background music is the ancient Roman era people held banquets, and for this reason, they also specially created a god. There is a painting by Zhang Rubens Studio that is teasing. You can take a closer look. The ancient Egyptian pavilion of the museum makes my son full of praise. Compared with the British Museum&#39;s cloth exhibition, it is reasonably arranged, clearly described and clearly displayed! In my layman&#39;s eyes, anyway, it is not crowded in the British Museum, and I don&#39;t see much. I only know when I come to Liverpool. The study of ancient Egyptian civilization here is not lost to the British Museum! If you have interested friends, you can come and have a good look. The World Museum is indeed worthy of its name. It has a cultural relics exhibition hall around the world. It is the first time to see Eskimo related! From clothes to supplies, it is an eye-opener. There are also Mayans, Indians, and not to the Americas, and they have also seen it. The African part is displayed according to the national area, and the exhibits are very rich. There is also a reflection on colonial Africa in the year, and the conscience of cultural people is mentioned. The aquarium is very fun. Some are local characteristics of Liverpool, which are different from the Pacific Ocean we are familiar with. This museum is a good place to take the baby, many children play in it, the space inside is large, and they are not too worried about encountering it. The staff was very helpful 👍 when we left, called Uber, because the museum door did not allow parking, and it rained heavily outside, so we consulted the location of the road near the staff. He specially took out a nearby map for us and introduced the situation in detail. Thanks 🙏 In fact, next to the museum is St. John&#39;s Garden. Unfortunately, it rained heavily and there was no chance to walk. Going further, you can see the Shankly Hotel. The son said that this should be a must-check place for Liverpool fans.
