WAMALA is a Naarm/Melbourne based artist who draws inspiration from 90's alternative, R&B, trip hop, grunge, modern folk, gospel, blues, and rock, to create music that is both fresh and familiar, with an extraordinary tone of voice and emotive projection. WAMALA's recent EP  Fitter, Better, Healthier,  produced by Joshua Moriarty (Miami Horror/Telenova), is a warm and ethereal exploration of mental health, personal growth, and identity. The EP's title is a nod to Radiohead's  Fitter Happier , and the project is a testament to the power of music as a tool for self-discovery and healing. Come along to the Hawthorn Hotel October 4th to hear the EP in full, along with his other ethereal and thumping work. Doors at 7:30pm.
