Beginning at The Black Horse, a pub with its own share of ghostly activity, you’ll enjoy a slice of pizza to fortify yourself before the walk begins. From there, your guide will lead you on a 1.2-mile journey through the heart of Wakefield, stopping at some of the city’s most haunted and legendary spots. Along the way you’ll hear chilling accounts of executions, apparitions, and uncanny happenings – including a visit inside one of Wakefield’s most famously haunted locations
Whether you’re a believer, a skeptic, or just curious about Wakefield’s darker heritage, this walk offers a mix of eerie entertainment and rich storytelling.

Distance: Approx. 1.2 miles on foot, mostly flat walking with regular stops.
Duration: Around 2 hours.
Start Point: The Black Horse, Wakefield (pizza included at the beginning).
Age Suitability: Recommended 16+ due to mature themes.
