Witness the poignant narratives of ten young newcomers, students from the International Transition Class in Gouda, as they share their true stories and experiences. Some have resided in the Netherlands for years, while others have recently arrived or fled conflict in their home countries. Through interviews, conversations, and director-led improvisations, the show delves into their arrival at the Dutch refuge, expressing their emotions, challenges, and hopes for a new beginning. Accompanied by two musicians and two vocalists, this 45-minute performance embraces themes of gratitude, cultural diversity, friendship, resilience, and the sanctuary that a "vluchthaven" represents. Admission is free, with reservations recommended, and donations are graciously accepted to support the show.
