This exhibition commemorates the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War on April 30, 2025. The Vietnam War is well known for the victory of Vietnam against a great power, the USA, which resulted in a drastic change in the conventional situation of the world itself. However, for Vietnam, the 20th century should not be described exclusively with the Vietnam War but with other significant factors, including French colonization involved with drastic modernization, two wars, and reunification of the divided country followed by the refugee crisis and economic reformation under the Doi Moi Policy, as well as globalization. The 20th century for Vietnam was the era of significant change that experienced such historic transformation one after another.

Fukuoka Asian Art Museum

The Fukuoka Asian Art Museum is located in the Takashimaya Department Store, just off the Nakashu-Kawabata Line from the Airport Line, and in the same building as the Anpanman Museum. The works of outstanding modern Asian artists are collected here, and the works of many contemporary Chinese artists are also included here. The art museum is on the seventh floor. There is a direct elevator on the first floor. There is also a small exhibition hall on the eighth floor, which is also a mobile exhibition. There is a bookstore coffee bar inside, with many, many books, including Chinese ones. Even if you don&#39;t drink coffee, there are free seats here for you to sit down and read a book. The plum soda is homemade by the coffee shop owner and they are really delicious! There is a floor-to-ceiling window where you can see the scenery outside (although there is no scenery to see, it is all buildings). The sky suddenly cleared up just after the typhoon. Facing the blue sky and white clouds, I sat there and didn&rsquo;t want to leave. I flipped through the books and looked at the exhibitions. Photos, the music taste of the store is good, and the background music is easy to sit still.

We enjoyed our time at the Fukuoka Tower. There was a Christmas market outside during our visit and we were able to enjoy some snacks in the cold winter.

Marine World

Highly recommended, enjoy a day of leisurely parent-child time. It takes about half an hour from Hakata Station. There is a transfer in the middle, but the instructions are clear, and the road signs are also clear after getting off. In summer, you can choose to go to the aquarium first, and then go to the water park in the seaside park (only from July to September). It is about ten minutes apart. There is a shuttle bus at the water park. It is recommended to buy tickets for the aquarium on Ctrip. There is no need to queue, and it is a little cheaper than on-site (2500 yen for adults, equivalent to 125 yuan, Ctrip 123 yuan)

Ohori Park is called the Little West Lake of Fukuoka because it was built to imitate the West Lake. It takes about an hour to walk around the lake, and the scenery is beautiful. There is the Fukuoka Art Museum in the park, and there is a very good restaurant on the second floor of the museum, with an elegant environment and exquisite food.

Kushida Shrine

Kushida Shrine is a must-visit shrine when you come to Hakata. You must come to see the Gion Yamakasa. Although I didn&#39;t come in July, I didn&#39;t see the big Yamakasa in the city, but I can see the Yamakasa in Kushida Shrine.
Read the introduction According to the legend of the shrine, Kushida Shrine was founded in the first year of Tenpyo Hoji (757) and has been the general guardian of Hakata since ancient times. The Hakata Festival is a representative festival of Fukuoka City and is well-known throughout the country.

Fukuoka Castle Ruins

Of the castle ruins, nothing remains except the stone foundation.

The feudal lord was pragmatic, building only three castle towers: large, medium, and small.

Tamon Turret is overgrown with weeds; the other turrets have only their foundation stones left, while others are merely imaginary.
