This captivating event at the Brigham Young University Museum of Art in Provo will showcase a quilt from Primal Forces that beautifully illustrates the Earth's ability to shape mountains. Delve into the fascinating processes involved in transforming rocks into various forms and textures. After gaining inspiration, unleash your creativity and make your own Earth-inspired craft in the studio.

Van Gogh to Playdough: Earth is an engaging and educational activity specifically designed for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers. Together, you and your child will embark on a journey of reading, singing, playing, looking, and creating, all while exploring artistic themes. Best of all, this event is free and open to the public. However, please note that registration is required.

Registration for Van Gogh to Playdough: Art for Pre-K opens at 10:00 AM on the third Monday of each month for classes taking place the following month. Please ensure to register for only one date, as the same program is repeated throughout the entire month. To ensure a smooth experience, please remember that one adult chaperone is required for every three children. If you are part of a large group, please contact us directly at (801) 422-1140, and we will make arrangements to accommodate you.

When arriving for the event, please be aware that the Museum opens at 10:00 AM. If you happen to arrive a few minutes early, kindly inform our Security Guard that you are here for Van Gogh to Playdough. They will guide you to our waiting area inside the Museum. As this activity tends to fill up quickly, we kindly request that you inform us if you are no longer able to attend, so we can offer your spots to other children.
