Unlike the Rest - A Doctor's Story An accomplished physician, nationally ranked spoken word poet, and thought leader, Dr. Chika Stacy Oriuwa launches her memoir - Unlike The Rest: A Doctor's Story, published by Harper Collins. Interwoven with descriptions of on-the-ground medical training, personal moments of doubt and success, and reflections on mental health and family expectations, Unlike the Rest is the moving and inspiring story of a young doctor’s journey through medical school and residency, where she found her calling in the science and in the patients, but also felt alone and lonely, and compelled to advocate for change, not only for those in training but for those in care. And while the risks in speaking up seemed great, to simply endure was unacceptable. Dr. Oriuwa has been named one of TIME magazine’s “ Next Generational Leaders” and one of Maclean’s Power 50. She has also been named one of Best Health Magazine‘s “Women of the Year” and been featured in several major media outlets, including CBC’s The National, CTV News, CP24, Toronto Star, and TODAY, amongst others. Dr. Oriuwa was one of six frontline workers honored by the Barbie Role Model Program with a Barbie doll created in her likeness and was the first black woman to become the sole valedictorian at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. Staying near Queen Street, after sightseeing during the day, I spent two consecutive nights on Queen Street. In addition to shopping malls such as Eaton Square and The Bay, there are also attractions such as the New and Old City Hall nearby, so you can enjoy sightseeing and shopping at the same time. I also saw two Winners discount stores along the way, and the suitcases were quite cheap. I also highly recommend a restaurant near Queen Street, &quot;The Elm Tree&quot;, which was introduced by a friend who immigrated to Toronto ten years ago. The food is delicious, the dishes are beautifully presented, and the prices are reasonable.

Came on a Wednesday morning. There weren&rsquo;t a lot of people and tickets were booked prior online. One of the current exhibitions - Being and Belonging was not included in the current tickets but it was totally worth getting it. Each floor comprised of different exhibitions so do be prepared for it to take up to 2 hours. 10/10 recommend coming here to be overwhelmed with knowledge and AC.

Casa Roman Castle is located in the north of Toronto, built for British descent. The cellar in the basement has a lot of wine collection; there is a wax museum upstairs, there are wax figures of Hollywood stars, and wax figures of Jackie Chan and the Canadian Prime Minister&#39;s little potatoes. The garden has fountains and sun rooms; The rooftop terrace overlooks Toronto.

St Lawrence Market is a nice place to go in Toronto. It is near downtown Toronto. I enjoyed some delicious fresh salmon sashimi at a very affordable price. More shops are open during weekend, it is better to go there during weekend.
