Unlike the Rest - A Doctor's Story An accomplished physician, nationally ranked spoken word poet, and thought leader, Dr. Chika Stacy Oriuwa launches her memoir - Unlike The Rest: A Doctor's Story, published by Harper Collins. Interwoven with descriptions of on-the-ground medical training, personal moments of doubt and success, and reflections on mental health and family expectations, Unlike the Rest is the moving and inspiring story of a young doctor’s journey through medical school and residency, where she found her calling in the science and in the patients, but also felt alone and lonely, and compelled to advocate for change, not only for those in training but for those in care. And while the risks in speaking up seemed great, to simply endure was unacceptable. Dr. Oriuwa has been named one of TIME magazine’s “ Next Generational Leaders” and one of Maclean’s Power 50. She has also been named one of Best Health Magazine‘s “Women of the Year” and been featured in several major media outlets, including CBC’s The National, CTV News, CP24, Toronto Star, and TODAY, amongst others. Dr. Oriuwa was one of six frontline workers honored by the Barbie Role Model Program with a Barbie doll created in her likeness and was the first black woman to become the sole valedictorian at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. Living near Queen Street, after the day tour, I spent two nights in Queen Street. In addition to shopping malls such as Eaton Square and The Bay, there are also new and old city halls nearby. It can be said that shopping and shopping are not delayed. Along the way, I also saw two Winners discount stores, and the suitcases were quite cheap. There is also a grand recommendation of a restaurant near Queen Street, &quot;The Elm Tree&quot;, introduced by a friend who immigrated to Toronto for ten years. The food is delicious, the dishes are beautiful, and the price is reasonable.

Came on a Wednesday morning. There weren&rsquo;t a lot of people and tickets were booked prior online. One of the current exhibitions - Being and Belonging was not included in the current tickets but it was totally worth getting it. Each floor comprised of different exhibitions so do be prepared for it to take up to 2 hours. 10/10 recommend coming here to be overwhelmed with knowledge and AC.

Casa Loma is located in the north of Toronto and was built by British descendants. The basement wine cellar has a large collection of wines; upstairs there is a wax museum with many wax figures of Hollywood stars, as well as Jackie Chan and Canadian Prime Minister Simon &amp; Schuster. The garden has a fountain and sun room; the rooftop terrace overlooks Toronto.

St Lawrence Market is a nice place to go in Toronto. It is near downtown Toronto. I enjoyed some delicious fresh salmon sashimi at a very affordable price. More shops are open during weekend, it is better to go there during weekend.
