View and learn about the most recent hang of artworks from the University of Auckland Art Collection in the newly-redesigned Building 201 including Maramatanga, a site-specific moving image commission by Lisa Reihana.
The focus of this free one-hour tour will be about how the curation of artworks complements the design and narrative behind the award-winning building, while creating a welcoming environment for learning and research. The tour includes significant artworks by Lisa Reihana, Emily Karaka, Fiona Pardington, Julian Hooper and other Aotearoa artists. LOCATION: Meet in the atrium, near the Symonds Street entrance. The tour is guided by University Art Collection Advisor Madeleine Gifford. Bookings essential. Each walk is limited to 25 people only. Maximum 2 walks and 2 places per walk per person. You won&#39;t find the entrance on the ground level, take an escalator inside the hotel and go down to the basement. Although i find the admission fee is a bit high but a tall sky tower overlooking the city of Auckland is a must see... don&#39;t miss it.

An ocean world built below sea level, not big, but the popular science is very good, there are many penguins. Just looking at the water near Auckland through the glass, it is not as clear as imagined. Worth a visit

The whole experience was great, and it&#39;s a great place to learn about New Zealand&#39;s history and culture. The museum is quite large and worth a good half-day visit. There are many interactive exhibits, especially suitable for taking children out. There are also Chinese services, which is recommended.

Although Mount Eden is not high, you can overlook the whole of Auckland from the top of the mountain, and the view is particularly wide. The remains of the crater are clearly visible, covered with green grass, a peaceful green. It is not difficult to walk all the way up. You can also see sheep grazing on the hillside. Their leisurely appearance makes people can&#39;t help but take a few more photos. The wind on the top of the mountain is very strong, but it is also very fresh, which makes people feel particularly bright. It is a good place that does not require tickets or planning, but can leave very deep memories.

Auckland Domain

Auckland Central Park is not like the common landscape parks in the city. It is more like a natural forest. The winding tree-lined paths and the tall trees on both sides make you feel like you are walking into the original green field, with thick fallen leaves and soft soil under your feet. The air is filled with the fragrance of plants, which is very suitable for jogging, walking the dog or just taking a quiet walk. There are also several sculptures and small bridges hidden along the way, which adds a little fun. Although it is not far from the city, you can completely escape the rhythm of the city once you enter the park.
