One of the festival's most intriguing events, Write or Flight, challenges playwrights to immerse themselves in eerie locations as they pen their plays, drawing inspiration from the unsettling environments in which they find themselves alone with their thoughts. Over the years, writers have been dispatched to chilling locales such as haunted hotel rooms, cat-filled barns (not ideal for the allergic), mausoleums, and vacant stores, among others. This year's festival features two plays that were written in isolation as part of the Write or Flight experience. It is important to note that for the performance on Wednesday, December 13, no advance tickets are available; instead, attendees may contribute what they can afford in cash at the door. Due to the nature of the content, trigger warnings are in place, making it advisable for those with a faint heart to exercise caution. The festival lineup includes thought-provoking productions like "SESSION: Who does the guilt really belong to?" written and performed by Christine Emmett, and "HOMECOMING: A showdown between the landlord and the tenant," a Mada Theatre Production written by Prashant Das and directed by Pam Patel and Nada Abusaleh.
