Along the forest path, the fallen leaves are all over the ground, and the sky is still full of autumn healing even though it is cloudy and rainy - the light and shadow move through the leaves, changing with the pace, making people can't help but take pictures as they walk. 🗺️ Recommended route arrangement: From 534 Dundurn St S, enter from the first section of the Chedoke Radial Trail and slowly climb up the stairs. Along the way you will pass some old railway facilities and iron bridges, it is especially recommended to stop at the iron bridge location, the orange and yellow maple leaves form a strong contrast, perfect for photography. The entire route is gentler, suitable for most people, and there are occasional small attractions along the way to stop and look. 📸 Must-check location: 1. Maple Leaf Covered Forest Path: Whether it’s landing maple leaves or tree canopies dappled with sunlight, there’s a lot of layering. 2. Iron Bridge: Beautifully photographed on and off the bridge when the maple leaves are in full bloom in the fall. 3. Partial elevated location with distant views of Hamilton city. 💡Itinerary Tips: - Autumn (September to November) is the best maple viewing period, morning or afternoon excursion is recommended for more beautiful light and shadow. - The trail is safe even if it is cloudy and rainy;but non-slip shoes are required for wet and slippery ground. - Water, light snacks are recommended, there are not many shops along the way. - The whole journey takes about 2-3 hours, walk slowly and take time to take pictures is best. - There are some public recreational facilities along the road for a break or picnic.

However, my most recommended, is the night out - Trail entrance lights dotted in the trees, the whole trail more than a gentle sense of security, walk in on a rainy day, your head dripping, the forest is hazy, as if entering a movie scene. Sunny days come completely different, the light and shadow are mottled, no matter how you shoot it looks good. Along the Chedoke Trail, there are plenty of natural close-ups and distant views, clearly marked throughout, making it easy for families or outdoorsmen to cope. The trail is flanked by dense autumn woods, and as you walk you can enjoy the golden canopy, the sound of withered leaves treading, and occasionally see squirrels jumping. Nature combined with the urban atmosphere without violation of harmony, especially love to walk at night, feel the whole city is quiet, only we are wandering in the forest.
