Discover the art of pottery with our Try It Wheel class for beginners! This introductory wheel-throwing class is designed to give you a hands-on experience with the potter’s wheel. You’ll learn the basics of centering, shaping, and throwing clay to create your very first pottery piece. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage, as this BYOB-friendly class adds an extra touch of fun to your creative journey. Whether you’ve always wanted to try pottery or are looking for a new creative outlet, our Try It Wheel class offers the perfect opportunity to get your hands dirty and explore the world of ceramics. Come, sip, and see where the wheel takes you! All glazing and firings will be completed by the instructor, and you can pick up your finished piece approximately 2-4 weeks after the class at a time arranged with your instructor. A minimum of 5 students is required for the class; otherwise, it may be canceled or rescheduled at the discretion of Erie ClaySpace. In the event of a cancellation, funds will be fully refunded.
