Trail Sisters Dig Day @ Rocky Point is an exciting event that invites women and non-binary individuals to join the Trail Sisters for a day of trail work. This event will take place at the Rocky Point Central Trailhead in Portland, Oregon on December 3, 2023. The Trail Sisters are a supportive community of outdoor enthusiasts who come together to enhance trails and uplift each other.

During the dig, participants will engage in various trail enhancements, including clearing, benching, and armoring. No prior experience is necessary, making it a welcoming environment for all skill levels. The dig will start promptly at 9:30 am and run until 1 pm, with snacks provided afterwards.

To ensure a smooth check-in process, it is recommended to arrive 10-15 minutes early. Work clothes such as a light long-sleeve shirt, long pants, and boots are required. Participants should also bring gloves, eye protection, a jacket for unpredictable weather, and a hard hat or bike helmet. It is essential to stay hydrated, so water is a must, along with snacks and lunch.

The Trail Sisters Dig Day @ Rocky Point is organized in collaboration with Weyerhaeuser, the land manager of Rocky Point. To enter the property, participants must be a member in good standing with NWTA (Northwest Trail Alliance) and have signed the Rocky Point Waiver. Joining NWTA allows individuals to become part of a community of over 5,000 mountain bikers who steward trails in Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington.
