North Charleston Events in February, 2025

Toothbrush rugs originated from the use of a sharpened wooden toothbrush handle as a needle to weave fabric scraps into rugs and baskets. Learn the basics of this no-sew textile technique with master quilter and celebrated fiber artist Cookie Washington in this afternoon workshop. Participants must provide a King size bedsheet to be ripped apart and their own shears. All other materials provided. Space is limited. This workshop is presented as part of Black History Month Programming being offer at Park Circle Community Building.
