Join artist Andrew J Brooks as he discusses TOLL, his large-scale artwork marking the first year of Covid-19 deaths in the UK. Created in solitude through 52 performances, TOLL consists of 145,652 hand-drawn marks—one for each life lost. Brooks will share insights into the work’s creation, its evolution over five years, and its significance today. This talk is part of the TOLL – Five Years On exhibition, where the piece will be displayed fully unrolled for the first time. The exhibiton is open 10am-5pm, 5th & 6th April 2025
