The panelists include Ari Yarwood of Silver Sprocket Press, Brown Recluse Zine Distro, Brett Warnock from Kitchen Table Magazine, and Emmi Greer and Rich Perin from Buckman Publishing.

Taking place at Portland State's student-run 5th Ave Cinema, this event promises to be an enlightening evening filled with insightful conversations. Vo Vo, an editor, speaker, educator, curator, artist, and musician, will explore support strategies and models of community care within a post-traumatic social landscape, with a specific focus on the resilience of BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, and disabled communities. Brown Recluse Zine Distro, a volunteer-run not-for-profit distro, aims to provide support and representation for Queer and Trans Black Indigenous and People of Color in the zine community. Buckman Publishing, an independent press, showcases the talent of local artists and writers through their biannual multi-genre anthology, Buckman Journal. Meanwhile, Silver Sprocket Press is known for publishing political, experimental, and queer artist-owned comics.
