The Wild Things Crafting Party is an exciting event that allows attendees to unleash their creativity and contribute to the Orange Show's Annual Gala. Hosted by Gerry & Lou Waters, Jr., the 2023 Chairs, this event invites Houston's talented artists to join in the fun and create unique, hand-made decorations. These one-of-a-kind pieces will be featured at the Orange Show's 42nd Annual Gala on November 4th. The Crafting Party and Decoration Workshop will take place on September 30th from 2-7pm at the Orange Show World Headquarters in Houston. El Patio will be offering delicious food for purchase from 3-6pm, and complimentary beverages will be provided by Saint Arnold Brewing Company. This event offers a fantastic opportunity for attendees to get their hands dirty and explore their artistic side while supporting the Orange Show's mission of celebrating the artist in everyone. The decorations created at the Crafting Party will be made from found, discarded, and used objects, giving new life to items that would otherwise be considered trash. If you have any old trophies, ribbons, yarn, pliable wire, stuffed animals, or animal horns and antlers lying around, the Orange Show would love to have them for the Crafting Party. Simply drop them off at the Orange Show World Headquarters between 9am-5pm Monday-Friday or bring them with you to the event.
