” We may be different,You and I,But our constellations glide in tandemThrough the same sky.”* * * The Same Sky is a collection of artwork and poetry I have grown over the last 5-10 years of my life. It is a way for me to explore, process and express life and the experiences that don’t translate any other way. Some of these are images and stories from my dreams, while others are from waking life where something has moved or fascinated me into responding in art. Some of the pieces have taken days to complete, others took 10 minutes.I don’t want to say too much, but let the art speak for itself. I mostly hope that you will come along and find something here that speaks to you. Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be provided. Feel free to email me if you have anything you want to share in response to the exhibition. Constructive feedback is also welcome. Any donations you feel inspired to give help to support the centre to support local artists and crafters, teachers and community groups to continue doing the work they do: 40% goes to the Centre and 60% to the artist. There will be an opportunity to order prints during this event if you would like to. *** About the artistI have been making art since I was a small child, and just never stopped. I especially love working with colours and ways to create light in my art, I am always most moved by this in the art of others as well. When it comes to poetry, I think of it as using words to say things that can’t be said in the usual way, because trying to make sense gets in the way. My deepest inspirations come from nature. My sister used to make fun of me when I borrowed her bags or jackets and how they would always come back to her full of stones, shells, sticks and leaves… I am also fascinated (and often confused) by the relationship between humans and the natural world, including with each other, and obsessively explore ways that this fallacy of separation can be healed. I have been running workshops at the Salisbury Centre for a year and a half or so in the field of natural vision improvement, exploring our sense of sight and all that entails. Making art is also a great way to explore this! If this interests you, don’t hesitate to get in touch.When I am not doing the above said things, I work at an organic farm and do a bit of gardening, go for walks and forage, dance, do yoga, meditate and sit around with my friends, crocheting and drinking tea.

Finally visited the Stonehenge.  Worth the visit.  My kids love it and weather was perfect. Entering to the facility was easy and smooth.  No queue needed. Definitely recommend
