December's Playpen Longform Improv Jam (and Salon) at The Imperial Pub in Toronto is the final event before an indefinite hiatus. This Salon-style gathering, taking place on the second Monday of December, offers a unique opportunity for improv enthusiasts to delve into longform improv theory and explore the underlying motivations behind the art form. Participants will have the chance to discuss and dissect their scenework, while also taking the stage to bring their ideas to life. The event will be hosted by Dani Alon, a renowned improv and stand-up comedian based in Toronto. Dani brings a wealth of experience, having trained at prestigious institutions such as the Second City Conservatory and Chicago's iO Theatre. She has also taught improv to students of all levels at the Improv Embassy in Ottawa. Don't miss out on this final chance to engage in the enriching world of longform improv!
