This enchanting ballet will be performed by the talented students of Ballet Arts Academy, under the artistic direction of Mimi Ewers. Immerse yourself in the magical world of Clara and her friends at the Stahlbaum's Christmas party. Witness Clara's joy as she receives her beloved Nutcracker doll from her quirky uncle. As Clara falls asleep, she embarks on a dream-like journey through various lands, encountering mice, a mesmerizing snowstorm, the captivating Snow Queen, and the beautiful Sugar Plum fairy and her Cavalier performing a stunning Pas de Deux. Be captivated by the exquisite costumes and support the talented student dancers. Don't miss the special Sugar Plum Pas de Deux performed by Abby Jayne DeAngelo and Guillame Basso. For a truly VIP experience, consider the Sugar Plum Experience, where young children can meet the ballerinas, take photos with them beside decorated trees, and receive signed autographs along with a delicious treat. The performances will be held at Spokane Community College's Lair Auditorium, located in building #6. Parking is available in lot P1, with convenient access from Mission Street.
