The Scranton Civic Ballet Company is thrilled to present Northeast Pennsylvania's most highly-anticipated holiday tradition, the 37th anniversary of Helen Gaus’ enchanting production of "The Nutcracker". Returning to The Theater at North in Scranton, this breathtaking, holiday classic is set to captivate audiences with its timeless tale of Clara, Drosselmeyer, and the Sugar Plum Fairy. Accompanied by the beloved score of Tchaikovsky, this live performance promises to transport you on an enchanting journey. 

Mark your calendars for Friday, December 8th at 7:30pm and Saturday, December 9th at 2pm, and join us for this unforgettable experience. For those in need of wheelchair access, we have thoughtfully designated four specially-designed areas on the first floor of the theater. These "wheelchair seats" are marked in blue on the seating map, with "wheelchair companion seats" available on either side, marked in teal. Please reserve these seats for companions of audience members in wheelchairs. Please note that the balcony seats are not wheelchair accessible.
