Tap into your inner lioness and unleash your fierce self-defense skills at The Lioness Instincts: Women Self Defense Class (Fundamental Class). This empowering women-only event will take place at Mattix Academy in Davie, Florida. 

During this action-packed self-defense class, you will learn essential techniques and gain the confidence to protect yourself in any situation. Our experienced instructors will guide you through practical exercises and teach you effective strategies to enhance your personal safety. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this in-person event is open to all.

The class will focus on fundamental movements such as proper falling and standing up, understanding balance, grip breaking, basic strikes (jab, cross, hook, and upper cut), and exploring the pocket. To ensure personalized instruction, the class is limited to 16 individuals. If tickets are sold out, check out the upcoming events page for future opportunities.

Please note that shoes are not worn on the mat, so you will be barefoot during the class. Water and poweraid will be available for purchase. Before participating, you will need to sign a waiver. For the convenience of all participants, shoe racks are provided at the entrance. If you need to use the restroom, please carry your shoes with you and put them back on before entering the mat area.

This class may take you out of your comfort zone, as it involves techniques that will have you falling on the floor. However, our instructors will be there to support you and ease any discomfort.
