The performance will feature the talented dancers of Heidi Duckler Dance Northwest, Charles Roy and Barbara Lima, who will engage with the architecture of the Keller Fountain and music composed by Justin Ralls, using the space to create a dynamic dialogue between the body and the environment. The choreography will reflect the beauty and fragility of winter against the unique character of the Keller Fountain, with striking lighting elements integrated into the dancers costumes to create a vibrant visual display. The music, composed by Justin Ralls fuses electronics, live instrumentation and the sounds of nature to create a compelling sonic landscape. The performance is free and open to the public, making it a perfect way for families and visitors to enjoy a cultural and artistic experience during the Portland Winter Lights Festival, an annual event that celebrates the city’s vibrant arts scene and its stunning winter landscape. With installations and performances across the city, the festival brings together artists, performers, and the public to celebrate Portland's creative spirit and the beauty of winter.
